And the first team to withdraw from a bowl game is…Marshall…25 players entered the transfer portal. From Sun Belt champs to virtually no team left.
I expect a few more will cancel bowl games due to the transfer portal.
They have pretty much ruined bowl games with the transfer portal.

@teehar What a shame. The Transfer Portal and that NIL stuff has made it hard for fans to follow their favorite teams or even their Alma-Mater. It really sucks for Marshall & Army and their fans for sure. Lots of plans ruined and hopes dashed. Gotta just move forward. For most of us fans of college athletics, all we can do is grin and bear it, and maybe boycott one or more of the millions of sponsers that also contribute to ruining the game with so many ads. I dont need a new Car, Truck, or Chips; nor do I need to worry about “what’s in my wallet” !!
