I was a huge FEN fan, but worried about the eventual shutdown. I switched to FAN lite and in my opinion it is just as good as FEN and gets constant updates.

POV works better than Twilight IMO. It’s also faster than Fen-Lite at finding links.

I use Fen Light but I keep getting an “Avaliable Update” message. I can’t figure out how or where to download and install that update? When I go to Fen Light configuration and try to select Update it says No Updates Available Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Try reverting to a previous version, then try updating again.
In tools section under Update Utilities, select Rollback to a previous Version.
Should be on 1.0.86 when updated.

The version already shows 1.0.86 and won’t update even tho I get the notice saying fen light update available. I’m going to follow your rollback instructions. Thanks very much!

I got Umbrella up and running but I’m having an issue. For each category of movies, I’m only seeing the first page worth of 25 movies. I’m not able to see page 2, page 3, page 4 etc. any idea how to fix it? Thanks

EDIT: This issue only applies to (IMDB) lists. TMBD and Trakt, I’m able to go to the next page. Any idea why I can’t see subsequent pages within the IMDB lists?

Hello, this is my first post. I would like to say that fen light is a very good addon and it’s still working very well with my real debrid account.
It’s the only one that’s working, all the other add-ons are not working.

Hi, I’m new on here but not new to Kodi, been using it since 2017.
My favorite addons has been and still is ReleaseBB and as of 2 days ago it stopped giving me links for TV shows or movies.
It still gives me the most updated TV shows but no links to watch.
I have 3 active debrid accounts.
I’ve changed the Domains and cleared the cache but nothing seems to help.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Maybe time to try a new addon. Umbrella and POV are working great right now with different Debrid options in each one.

Check your debrid accounts. I just downloaded and authorized Premiumize and was able to play a movie and a tv show. I may have gotten lucky that the first movie link i selected played. I needed to check a few links for a tv show to play.

Also check your version. I have 2.1.3 installed.

What do you mean “In real time”? Its not live tv.

I finally dived into Kodi today to see first hand if I want to embrace it or not. Here’s what I encountered. I’m hoping some of you Kodi veterans can weigh in.

In case it matters, I have the Buzz 6 Unlimited (Android 13) so I installed the latest 64 bit version from Troy’s Toolbox. I have good internet, via Ethernet. I never have problems playing Stremio streams or IPTV, and I do use a VPN, usually set to a server in the US.

I followed Troy’s recent video, “The 4 Best Kodi Add-ons” to a TEE and everything installed just fine (Umbrella, Coco, Loop, DaddyLive). Even though his live TV streams played just perfectly for him in the video, I always get the pop up, “Playback Failed,” but I knew I’d probably not choose Kodi for live TV anyway. On to movies…

First, the default display resolution Kodi decided for me is 1920x1080 but that’s not true. I have a 4K TV so the resolution should be 3840x2160. There’s no way to manually change this, even after changing my settings status from Basic to Expert. Not sure if the resolution setting makes an impact or not.

All I know is, whenever I choose a 4K movie in Umbrella (using Real Debrid), every single stream stutters and freezes so bad it’s virtually impossible to watch, I tried different movies. I thought this had to do with the 1080 resolution Kodi forced on me in the settings, but the same thing happens with 1080 streams. Why won’t a movie play normally for me? Does Umbrella behave this way sometimes or is it something on my end? Does my VPN need to be set to a specific server area, etc.?
