It means if you happen to have a old wifi router make sure its not EOL by checking the manufacturers website. End of Life means that on that date they will not release any more security updates/ fixes. While the device might not be at risk today, in a few months if a group finds an exploit, That exploit will not be patched and hackers will use this to gain access to your network.
On another end of life
Windows 10 OS is EOL in October 2025, this could be extended but they are pushing Win11 hard
