PBS has great shows- check out Annika, Astrid, Endeavour, Paris Murders.
Season 3 of Industry is due out later this year. In fairness that’s a joint BBC/HBO venture so can’t be put 100% in the “British” box but hey. Marisa Abela will be back fresh off playing Amy Winehouse in Back To Black.
Then You Run is a good and quite different comedy thriller from last year starring Vivian Oparah who is an outstanding up and coming and hilarious young actress who starred in Rye Lane, an absolute gem of a movie set in South London.
Hi all! First time poster here. I agree that most US offerings aren’t really that good any longer. I converted to watching international dramas about the time that the pandemic began. I wanted to suggest that you give K-drama a look (South Korean offerings). Unless you have an aversion to reading subtitles, some of their offerings are very good. Check out Train to Busan, Flower of Evil, etc. Thanks for letting me chime in with my two cent’s worth.
