Installed pretty easy for me and didn’t notice any issues yet. Do we know the pw for the other side?

I hope I’m not out of line here. But when I followed the instructions, no “Chef Nexus Wizard” came up instead it was “Chef Omega Wizard.” And there was no “Diggs ‘Burst’ AIO. .” it was Diggs AIO. . .? something. Then when I re-launched Kodi, it asked me to select a “skin.” On one application I chose the default AIO and on another I chose an alternate "Diggs Burst. . " skin. At no time did the addon “Crew” asked to be loaded, and the search for “Night of the Living Dead” test, didn’t give the same view results. I don’t know how to revert to the basic Kodi view as shown, but I did follow the steps within the skin to add Crew, but not sure it’s complete. I didn’t see any notes on the instructions that this has changed. I’m a noob enough to follow directions exactly, but experienced (years/troypoint/firesticks) to get through to some streams. I have 6+ fire tv devices, I am re-setting/reloading and want to make them more efficient and safe (SS, Real-Debrid, Trakd, etc.)
Are the File Manager, Program/Video addons, the same function as the default Kodi interface for adding things like Crew? Comments?

Most of the info you have is probably outdated.
Recently, Diggz changed to have all builds included in the Diggz AIO (All in one) build. When you choose a skin you are picking which style of build you want.
I dont use burst but i know it offers free versions of movies/tv. You will not get many results. I dont know if The Crew offers results without a Debrid account.
On the home screen of the Burst skin/build you need to set up Burst with Elementum. That shouuld be where your results should be coming from.
Use Xenon Plus (or others) as your skin if you use Debrid and Trakt.
Also Chef Nexus was for Kodi version 20. Omega is the name for Kodi 21.

Hey thanks for the explanations! Makes a little more sense now. I realize it’s time-consuming to update every tutorial or video, but it threw me for a while. I used both the Xenon Plus and Xenon Burst skins, didn’t realize these are “different builds?” I thought skins were just GUI’s? Any way, I also tried following Troy’s instruction on downloading Elementum, and Download saying “can’t be accessed” as troypoint/estable or something like that. I finally found the add-on else where, can’t remember where but I think I got it loaded. I’m SO impressed with the detail that Troy goes into with these tutorials. But I wish I could suggest he skip the standard “side loading setup” and the surfshark set up before installing a build or addon. Not that I can’t fastforward, but I’d like to hear more of his tips and tricks, and settings recommendations. This is a great site!

No problem. The new set up can take a little while to figure out and load.
If i remember, the Burst skin/build had an icon with instructions to set up Elemental. So maybe thats where you got it.
Diggz calls them skins in the AIO build. Not sure of its technically correct but its ok with me. I think because its an AIO set up they are skins.
Troy does a great job and is thorough which is probably why he treats every tutorial like it’s your first time setting up. Cant assume everyone knows the steps already.
Enjoy the builds and ask around for help.

Thanks for insight. While I realize it’s hard to update all the tutorials with the ever-changing “sideloading” s/w providers out there, sometimes I wish there were notes or references to notes. I’ve learned quite a lot over the years. I’m not a big “sideloaded” (I agree “jailbreak” isn’t accurate and misleading) user, just when I was desperate to watch something. But with ever more pay-per-view streaming, and movies in theaters also being pay-per-view it’s a great way to watch some new releases (and some old!). And I always thought a “skin” was just a gui, but if it lacks info on adding something else or not, I see your point. Yes I think it was within one of the skins I found the Elementum repo, and I managed to get it to work. After my 3rd firestick I noticed I wasn’t completing all of Troy’s video or instructions and he had extra “setup” information on “scrapers?” So had to go back and do some tweaking. I stopped paying for Real Debrid a few years back when I wanted using my firesticks, but I renewed for 15 days to see the results, and Troy’s marketing about 85% of TP users use RD, convinced me. So I’m going for the 180 days next. Never used Trakt.tv but going to try that. I used all off Troy’s top recommende builds/addons, and APKs apps. I thought Cinema was more . . . protected and poweful, but maybe not? Will try Bee TV, Film Plus and Stemio. Any recommendations? Thanks for the info. Love this site! Got my brother hooked on firesticks, but he can’t seem to get subscribed to Troypoints emails. Not sure why. Oh, and I’ve been using Norton (for PC antivirus) but not VPN, but thinking of switching back to SurfShark and trying their antivirus. But their VPN sometimes blocks websites, and have hand time resolve with SS.

That was quite a bit to digest there. Lol
Real Debrid is worth it! Good call.
Trakt is great and free so take advantage of it too.
Firesticks are/were a great starter kit but when you have the need to upgrade there are much better options. And way easier to sideload and well within budget.

lol thanks! I realized later I should of broke my info up. I had a 3rd gen firestick that tried to “compress/update” and just hung (saw some internet suggestions on this) then it wouldn’t boot aat all. Got Amazon tech support on chat and all the tricks wouldn’t work. Said they’d give me a 20% discount if I order a new one lol. . I already had a spare. I’m a low-end user, so the firesticks are fine. My “cube” and “box” are a little slow, but seem to work. Great site and thanks for the feedback!

I’ve always been a Cinema HD users, but going to try the new Kodi and Diggs Xenon/Burst skins with Crew (and Elementum?) Loaded but not tried. Want to get better/learn more with these builds and start using side-loaded APKs and KODI addons to watch more streamin with Real Debrid. I see a lot of movies still in theaters but also on pay-per-view. My theory is, if someone is streaming it, you can watch is sans “cam” versions. I found JustWatch.com as an excellent source to check if these movies are available to stream or just in theaters, and where to find them (like if you’re paying for that streaming service. . but. . ;o)

No problem. If you are intersted in a low cost but well reviewed streaming device, think about the Onn 4k Pro ($50). Plenty of storage space and without the need to get around any Amazon issues. A few threads on here if you want to read up on it.

Whenever you give them a try remember, Xenon Plus needs RD. Burst needs Elemental. Before you dl the skins it tells you what the build(skin) needs at the bottom.
If you have any questions, look for a Diggz thread here and ask away. Someone here probably can help.
Your theory on Streaming and quality links is spot on.

I just tried to install Diggz Burst Build, and the URL is not working. I know they change from time to time, but this seems to be the latest. I typed it in exactly as shown: https://diggz1.me/diggzrepo.
Does anyone know of an updated URL?
Thanks,
Kenny Mc

That looks right. Turn off your vpn if you have one. Sometimes that interferes.

I was able to dl the wizard but having an issue with the AIO build right now. They may be working on it.
FYI the Burst build is now part of the All in one (AIO) build.

Thanks! Funny thing I bought one when on sale from a tip from Troypoint newsletter. I didn’t know it had 32 Gb storage. I’ve never hooked it up because I have firesticks on all my 6 tvs, but maybe I’ll give it a try. This review kind of dis’es the Onn Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K vs Onn Google TV 4K: What is the difference?, but the positive aren’t something that I’d be interested in. I see Troypoint did a review that seems to favor firestick? For me the extra storage would be a huge positive. I bought the Fire TV 2nd generation “box” long ago because it had an aux. SD card slot and USB plug in. Haven’t tried downloading videos, but that’s next! Still on the learning curve!
