Ok another question . My renewal is not till Jan 2026. So if i add the 2.0 i will lose the remainder of my subscription , am i correct in believing this ?

It seems to never fail that something always goes wrong.
I’m not given any options for any other code or anything. Very disappointing!

You must not have watched his setup video. He goes through everything and shows how to deal with the app locking up as well.
I just wanted to say that there really is no information by Syncler on “migration” based on any of the info or link provided in what opens from your email. It’s as basic as basic can get. Er, before installing 2.0, back up your key, make sure you remove 1.0, then install 2.0. None of that tells you how to regain your history or settings. Lastly, are there paid “vendors” like there were for “packages”, because Orion worked great?
It took me less than 10 minutes to install and configure (except for the personalized homepage, I’m still deciding on that). Everyone has to setup from scratch on 2.0 the first time, after that it will sync to other new installs, and you can leave 1.0 or the beta installed if you want. Just make sure you have the key backed up because if 1.0 is wiped and you don’t have it, you can’t recover it.

Answer 5: No, you do not have to uninstall Stable 1.0. You can install over the app. Keep in mind everyone regardless will have to setup Stable 2.0 from scratch.

It’s strange when I click on your link to download 2.0 download the installer just like it used to do.
I even like that might have been the problem but somehow it was downloading a corrupted version. I decided to go onto their website and download it directly from there using downloader but still the same issue. I think I’ll do a hard reset on the box and see if that works. Funny thing is that is the only app I’m having an issue with. Cinema and FilmPlus works as they should.
Anyway maybe I will figure out one day or maybe I’ll just return the box and get another one and see if it has the same problems..
I have tried using Syncler including this latest updated version going back about 5-6 years now. After installing, adding my real-debrid and trakt, no matter what tv show episode, or movie title I pick, I have never ever found 1 single link for anything. Ever lol. After now just installing, setting up and trying Syncler V2, still batting 0. Thank God for Kodi
I’m having the strangest problem and I spent 4 hours troubleshooting to no avail. I installed a new Onn 4k Plus today and followed Troy’s video to the word. Then I attempted to install Syncler 2.0. I currently have Syncler+ (old) running on my Den TV with Nvidia Shield Pro and my Bedroom (old) with a Firestick 4k Max. Syncler on my Nvidia has always worked but Syncler on my Firestick stopped working a few months ago and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. My solution was to purchase this Onn 4k Plus and start troubleshooting all over again. The Onn just became available near me. But when I attempt to install Syncler+ it won’t take my Logon info. I enter my Email and Password and nothing. Then I click Forgot Password, enter my email, and I get nothing in my mailbox. I’ve checked all my documentation and old email messages and confirmed this is the correct email I used to create my Syncler account.
Any ideas?

When trying to purchase key using Coinbase, I end up here (screenshot below) do I actually have to use real name and address to make this work on existing Coinbase account or should I just be concerned with using same email as existing Syncler account which is not the same email attached to my Coinbase account?

Did you add a scraper package provider such as Magnify, SynclerScrapers, or Jaked Up? They are the equivalent of CoCoscrapers in Kodi.
Why is syncler so popular? Stremio is so much better and much easier to set up oh and free. My brother in law used syncler forever until i set a new box up for him and put stremio on it and showed him how simple it is to use. Just my opinion but stremio is a million times better than syncler.

Better is subjective. Simpler maybe but I don’t think better.
There are many differences but the ones that stand out to me is the total control over your homepage and being able to set it up exactly how you want. Profiles, enough said. Advanced filtering of links by various factors like bitrate etc. Support for Android TV home screen channels. A built-in debrid manager and more.
Syncler took 10 minutes to install and setup. After that it will sync new installs, I don’t see much difference in that from Stremio.
Use whatever makes you happy, many find the extra features and control well worth the $15 a year.

I would also say Syncler is better than Stremio but I prefer Kodi out of all the available VOD apps.
