Chicken wings are nearing $2/wing average. It was floating around $1.50/wing - last couple places I went, going rate was $10.99/6 or $13.99/8.
Even tavern burgers are crazy now.

When I left Mexico the American style pubs, bars, and restaurants were selling burgers for $18-22. This in a town where the average mexican restaurant worker makes $10 USD/day. Yes a DAY.
Yeah, I can remember when wings went for 25¢ a piece and would run a sale at 10¢ apiece every so often.

When I used to shoot in our local bar’s pool league - every Thursday was 10¢ wing night and $1.50 tall boys.

I’m an old fogey. Use to go shoot pool and get 24 wings and a pitcher of beer and give the waitress a good tip for $15.

Yes the reset of Bluetooth and re-pairing the remote seems to have sorted the problem of remote freezing for 30 seconds or so.

Chicken resellers have divided the USA into 4 geographic areas. Producers have only one real buyer depending on location. Each of the 4 majors (Tyson, Pilgrims Pride, et al) routinely plead guilty to price fixing in a Damn Liberal court, pay a fine and continue on. It’s called Capitalism.

I didn’t keep any of them and won’t walk across the street to get one for free. Does anyone here use them for a Plex server? I have a Synology NAS server that works perfectly with all my other devices except this turkey and it wasn’t for lack of trying.

The configuration options in the Shield are amazing, and yes if you want to step your game up and optimize everything for your system, as I have, it takes some effort. But compared to everything else I’ve had, I love it. Good thing is, you have options for much easier devices to configure.

My remote freezing is back again can I put the shield back to android ten. Also I have now noticed lots of adds for live TV etc taking up the home screen. I have loaded the projectivity launcher and its very good.

Make sure your shield is getting adequate airflow though it’s intake and exhaust vents. High board temps can cause stability issues with both wifi and Bluetooth antenna/adapters.
Used some canned air and blow out through the intake and exhaust vents to clear out any dust buildup acting as a heat insulator.

is now $100 for 15 minutes! LOL. 
But without the kids enjoying the cinema experience. Sometimes we have to suck it up and pay some money so our kids can enjoy the theater, i remember my movie theater experiences. Kinda like when you’re on vacation…either you make it a great memory for the family or have your kids think how much of a cheap bastard you are. Like taking kids to Disney but never going into Disney. Sometimes I hear people talking about how they smart they are, how they’re the best, know better, etc, but theyre usually the people who aren’t enjoying life. They’d rather waste their money (if they have any) in a local bar, drinking cheap draft beer, with their cheap cigarettes and cheap ass bar room buddies. I do understand the concept of buying a Nvidia Shield versus taking the fam to the theater, but I’d be damned if i don’t take my kids to the movies occasionally, or go out for dinner, etc and just splurge as a treat. It’s about the experiences and memories. Anyway, thanks for the ramble and you’re welcome for comment i left, have fun tearing it up.
