Well in the past I’ve been talking about my shield Pro being buggy, the only thing I haven’t tried to change the hdmi cable, I just switched it over didn’t help it any at all. So my shield Pro is buggy. I got up to about 300 hours on my SS and I had to reboot my fire stick because the SS locked it up my streaming. Then I noticed there was an upgrade to 3.82 I believe. So I went ahead and upgraded the SS. And my fire stick nut it up on the homepage the cursor was running over the apps on the on the homepage. It did that for a minute before I was able to stop it. Crazy it’s all working good now though.
By the way, I upgraded the SS through Troy’s toolbox, no VPN so no captcha no problem with the upgrade.!

I agree. I have two of the Pro’s running and have been for a couole months now (I think lol) and so far no issues. Can’t really beat the price of one in the US

if you don’t need the extra storage, the onn 4k for $20, does the job.

Not about a comparison between them but…

Does anyone know if you can have the time on the home screen on the Onn 4ks or Nvidia. The closest i can get is the settings button.

Just find it weird its not there. I feel like i am missing an obvious solution.

If you’re referring to the Shield Pro I have my time ahowing in the top right beside the settings gear and my google account icon.

At the family house right now using the onn pro and someone asked the time and i realized it wasnt there.

Thought they had the same home screen.

Edit:
Now that i think of it you are right… but the Onn has “google tv” labeled next to the settings icon.

Sorry I wouldn’t know. I don’t have an ONN. But it is on the Shield Pro. Also I have my TiViMate with a clock showing in the top right all the time.
