I am at a loss. I havent used a Firestick in years so maybe there is an issue there.
Since vpn off didnt work. Try with it on.
Do you have anything like virus protection or similar that may be blocking the download?
Sorry i couldn’t help solve the issue. Hopefully someone else can give a solution.
I have a feeling its something simple I am forgetting.

This is really a drag that this is giving you a bad time. Unfortunately, I’m not a Diggz expert. But you might want to take a look over at the Diggz team website.
I’m certain that it has to be a simple fix. PLEASE let us know if you figure out what is causing the grief.

Jerry,
Per your suggestion i did post on Diggz team but the reply i got didn’t make sense here is what i got
" Only thing it could be is something with your internet blocking the build server. Try connecting your box to your phones wifi hotspot to test. Or figure out how to disable your routers security filter. I never had any problem with what he described and don’t know what to make out of that! what do you think?

Try resetting (tutning off and back on) your router. Maybe that will help.

parveez, the message from the Diggz site, doesn’t seem to be very helpful at all.
I apologize, I’ve never used builds so I’m very little help.
The things that I would check would be how much space you have available for internal memory. Firesticks are notorious for running out of space quite easily. And also check that you have the source url correct as this is a common error (don’t ask me how I know this).

@JerryJ it seems either his device, vpn or isp is blocking him.
He was able to get the wizard so the url was good.
@parveez do you have a mobile hotspot for your phone? If not, can you bring your device to someone and use their wifi?

somehow I load the build guys! I did so many things I don’t remember which one was the silver bullet but here I go, After hot spot failed I did what you suggested I reset the modem didn’t work at first reset the stick but felt to do resetting on both several times couple of times it did try to load but froze at that point when aske if you want to load a build I could see the skin on the let side of the screen for the first time and at that time i thought it could be done unlike previous times when skin wasn’t there, eventually I did go to system within kodi deleted the Chef reinstalled it again after that voila, I think deleting and loading the chef within the kodi did take care of it for me and with a weird problem started with the skin was gone without me doing something wrong I have to mention that after loading the Xenon free build I didn’t have to choose and install a skin! Thanks to JP and Jerry to sticking with me and coming up with ideas and suggestions my hat off to you guys. BTW I wanted to attach some screen shots from the whole exigence but I couldn’t attach them in here. now I can get to and watch the rest of Reacher Lol
Thanks again!!

Welcome to the insider @parveez . All you have to do to attach a screenshot is to select the icon I circled and click on it, then that will open your screenshot folder or pic folder and you can find the pic you want to use, click on it and let it upload then send your post.

That’s GREAT! Super news!! We all really learn new stuff every time we go through this kind of stuff.
BTW, you brought up the “Check the log for more info”. I’ve dealt with this on several occasions and finally decide to look up how to do that.
Per Google search:
The “Check the Log for More Information” error in Kodi usually appears when there is an issue with the add-ons or repositories installed on your Kodi system. Here are some steps to help you fix Kodi error in 2023:
Check your internet connection: Ensure that your Kodi system is connected to the internet and has a stable connection.
Clear Kodi cache: Navigate to the Kodi settings, click on “File Manager,” and then click on “Profile Directory.” Select the “Database” folder and delete the “Textures13.db” file.
Disable Add-ons: Try disabling all add-ons installed on your Kodi system and then re-enable them one at a time to determine which add-on is causing the error.
Update Kodi: Ensure that you are running the latest version of Kodi, as some older versions may have compatibility issues with certain add-ons.
Check Log file: Access the Kodi log file by navigating to “Settings” > “System” > “Logging” and set the “Enable setting bug Logging” option to “On.” Then, reproduce the error and check the log file for any error messages or details on what may be causing the issue.
Reinstall Add-ons: If the error persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the add-ons that are causing the issue.
Clear Data and Cache of Kodi: If none of the above steps work, try clearing the data and cache of Kodi by navigating to “Settings” > “Apps” > “Kodi” > “Storage” > “Clear Data” and “Clear Cache”.
If the error still persists, you may need to seek assistance from the Kodi community or technical support.

I am sure you know that if data gets deleted in kodi a build have to be installed again am I right or not?

I think that you are asking that “if you clear data, that this will erase the Addon or build?” If so, the answer is no. Your Addon or build will still be there but your history and anything cached would be cleared.
**NOTE: parveez please see JPM69’s comment below. **

@JerryJ i think you are mistaken. If you Clear Data on Kodi you will delete everything installed.
If you Clear Cache it will not delete your build or installed addons.

Really? It’s been quite a while since I’ve messed with clearing anything since I always use my Nvidia box. I do recall, in the past, when using my Cube that I cleared the data and cache on most everything with the exception of Kodi as it served as my poor mans version of Tract. I am glad that you corrected me on that. Thank you!

I did install log file per instruction in Miki’s post.
After installing Xenon free when i open the kodi and go to movies i use to see the latest movies on the top of the screen not anymore but when i go to tv shows i see them on the top because of that i decided to install the build once more but the system sends the same error message and immediately opens the log viewer anybody can tell me why i can’t load the build which i have done the same way in the past(without clearing data) and what the log file error means? one more thing when i start the kodi and go to movies the "log viewer for kodi automatically pops up why? maybe i should clear data and then try to load again? i don’t want to go through the same brain damage like the last time but i do it if i have to. Thx

Why is dig xenon not updating from the 1.0 to the 2.0 right now? It’s give me a chef wizard error…
Here are pics of the issue. Thanks for any support.

What version of Kodi are you using?
You need to have kodi 21 or higher. 21.2 is the current version.
The currnet Xenon build is part of the AIO 4.0 (All In One).
Or are you referring to Xenon Free Build? Which is currently at version 2.0. I dont use this build.
Have you tried to reinstall?

Yes give me a chef wizard error. Cleared data, no go. Uninstalled and reinstalled nothing. I don’t see anything else but the 21.2 version. Is there another version or what?

Yes it is on the 21.2 version
