Thanks I’ll give it a shot.

I am a First time Trakt user. I have always used Kodi and so I am not well versed on TRAKT. I typically watch my videos on a TV so Kodi is my GO TO. I am on my MacBook Air at present and looking at the info about Trakt. I have downloaded an app from Trakt and it is called “InFuse”, I am also a Real Debrid user. I am seeking some advice on my next steps setting up correctly. How would I or even should I, engage loading Real-Debrid on this app? If so, how? Can you assist me with a strategy?

Long time Trakt user here. No idea what Infuse is or it’s relationship with trakt. Trakt is very easy to use and people use it differently. I like to keep it simple. first of in KODI just as with Real Debrid you need to Authorize Trakt within each Addon you use in KODI. It’s a similar process to the RD Authorization. Then what I do is simply add the shows and novies that I want to watch to my Trakt collection. Now they are in the cloud so whenever I go into KODI I simply go to my tv shows/my movies and everything is there on any device on KODI everywhere

I second MarkxG, that’s how I use my Trakt also.

I was setting up a new firestick and installed kodi 2.3 through troypoint. I then tried to install the Crew, but none of the dependencies would install so the installation failed. I uninstalled the repository and rolled back to Kodi 20.2 and tried again with the Crew, and it installed just fine.

Just a heads up I guess about version 20.3.

If 20.2 is ok you should just be able to update to 20.3 from that point.
I updated 20.1 with no new problems . I still have my old issue but that is only on one device

Thanks for the reply! I’ll try updating and see if The Crew is functioning OK.

Much appreciated.

Out of curiosity, did you install Crew after installing 2.3 Kodi, or did you upgrade kodi from a previous version?

I’ve been using Builds from the Grindhouse group for about 5 years. The Crew has been in that Build forever and KODI automatically updated from 20.2 to 20.3 The Crew has been working perfect for several months.

I did a fresh install of 20.3 last week and when I tried to load the crew it crapped out on install. I used the troypoint guide to install. I just thought it wasn’t updated for the new version yet so I left it. I haven’t tried since. I tend to just use the crew when my iptv sports are having issues.

If it is now working on a fresh install (not a kodi upgrade) then that would be nice to know.

It seems the upgrading kodi to 20.3 the crew will work fine, but on a fresh install of 2.3 the Crew won’t install properly.

agree updating leaves all apps working ok not sure why you need a clean install just to update kodi

I had some time today to try to re-install The Crew on my fresh install of 20.3 and it worked this time with no errors. So whatever problem I had before seems to have been resolved. Your mileage may vary!

Correct you don’t need a clean installation.

This originally started because I was setting up a new firestick for the first time and installed kodi 2.3 then the Crew.

so if you now have crew working on 20.2 just update to 20.3 an it should be ok i have it on 20.3 and its all ok :+1: sorry if ive misunderstood problem bad hair day

No worries mate! That is exactly what I did, and you are correct it’s working just fine now.
