mouse toggle app will not come out of scroll. at home page the scroll will not select so i cannot go back to see what setting is wrong in the app.

Hello, if you are getting this on the new Onn Box, there is a problem with Android 12. Not working very well. We know that the dev is working on an update to get this fixed.

I installed a mouse app on my Onn box . I can move it up an down an side by side but when I use the pointer to click on an app it wont open it . I turned on usb debugging but it still wouldn’t open any apps . Any ideas please .

What virtual mouse are you using? Have you used the Dev options to make changes?

Im using Matvt-Mouse for Android an I did go to developer options an turned on usb debugging . but I still couldn’t turn anything on .

Search for mouse toggle android on Troypoint.com and his tutorial will tell you what you need to do, which is more than just turning on usb debugging

On my 4k Firestick, I use a cheap 4-bay usb hub with the otg cable and plug in a wireless keyboard & mouse…saves a lot of strained thumb-muscles. That’ll probably work here, too. I’m going to tackle this project tomorrow. I much prefer my Onn cheapie’s UI.

Miki it don’t have a usb . The Bluetooth choices or TV , Soundbar and receiver . It don’t show a wireless mouse .

I don’t use the Onn but a bluetooth Keyboard is wireless. Not sure but the link I gave talks about a hub and a wireless Keyboard dongle can plug into it. If it’s a micro USB power port you should be able to use an OTG cable. There must be some insiders supercharging an onn. Teoy’s video does talk about using an USB hub to expand the Onn storage.

a cheap 4 port usb hub and mini mouse and keyboard from wallyworld work great.they have a dongle that i plug into the usb hub.i think i spent like 25US and type stuff in youtube like crazy? i luv all the youtube hacked apps…some pretty cool stuff on there…with no ads…freakin nice

I used a smays powered hub with ethernet and a Rii minikeyboard trackpad combo. Then added a 128GB usb drive. Total cost was less than $45 but wow it was great.

Don’t know if i’m in the right place to ask for help…, I’m desperately trying to make matvt mouse toggle for android work on fs 4k max 2nd gen
I’m on a windows 10 pc, so installed adb-setup-1.4.3.exe, then opened cmd with admin followed by
adb kill-server
adb start-server
adb connect so far so good … then
adb shell settings put secure accessibility_enabled 1

Fire up matvt on my 4k max 2nd gen (karat fos 8.1.2.7) and all 4 permissins/accessibility are green
I’m able to invoke the mouse toogle by pressing play/pause button but clicking wont work except on highlighted tabs
then press play/pause button again puts it in scroll mode but the d-pad wont work.
Tried this with both versions, MATVT.1.0.7-rs_adbserver_testbranch-main_lab-test25.apk and matvt-app-release-1.0.7-pre2.apk (NO ADB version)
So my question is ; is there any syntax errors in my adb commands that keeps matvt from working? Thanks in advance

First, thank-you Miki for your reply and sorry for my late comment, for I’m fighting a nasty cold.

I’ve only had this fs since 1/7/25, and quickly learned how amazon has so heavily crippled this amaziing performing tiny piece of hardware.

I think I’ve misinterpreted my question.I should’ve said “Is there anything missing in my adb shell commands?” since I’m only 3
weeks old in the world of adh shell. Before today TDUK_Unified_Debloat_Toolbox-v1.apk did all the adb shell hard work for me on my old fs 4k (2018).
Now amazon forces me to learn the hard way. So I watched tduk’s latest video on mouse toggle for fs, and correct me if I"m wrong, I don’t think the matvt app needs adb debugger per se, BUT needs to access os 11’s accessibility service and needs to add it’s own accessibility feature, which I did with the first 2 adb shell commands, but not sure if something is missing in the commands itself,
like # " / () and so forth (only 3 weeks old)

Then at some point in his video we see in pmx app demonstration which permissions needs to be allowed in matvt app to work. Again is there anything missing in the formentioned adb shell permission commands?.

All I’m doing here is replacing accessesibility_v1.apk and pmx_1.11.apk and granting all the needed accessibility/permissions via adb shell for matvt mouse toggle app to work.
So, what I so desperately need from you or anyone here, is anyone with a infinitely profound knowledge of adb shell to check & correct
if needs be the adb shell commands listed in my post.

Sadly all I have to test my findings, is a android os 9 tv stick (X96s), but os 11 is a totally different ball game.

Unless something has changed the disabling if ADB commands means the mouse toggle will not function and the stick if updated will have the WDB commands blocked. I haven’t used a firestick in a couple of years now. Sorry.
