New Insignia Fire TV No "My Fire TV" and No "Developer Options" on Settings Menu

Just fired up my new Insignia Fire TV. On the Settings Menu there is no “My Fire TV” and no “Developer Options” so I can’t sideload any programs. Only can install apps that are on Amazon’s App Store. Has anyone else run into this problem? And, is there a work-around to get the Developer Options?
