Now firestick won’t let me open the accessibility manager.Maybe they have restricted its use .
Thanks for this. I’ve tried about everything else on my new 4k Max.
Different versions of Launcher Manager, Launcher Manager Mini, Launch on Boot, etc.
Surprised this still works. My 4k Max is on 8.1.0.1
If you actually want to get back to the Amazon homescreen you have to turn off override, but you can Hold the Home button and scroll over to get to Firestick Settings.

Yes Gull, that is what I do to go to settings. With all the restrictions lately, I’m just about done with Firesticks. I use my ONN 4k Pro mostly now.
I couldn’t pass one up for $25 on prime day, trading in an old first gen.
I had returned a 4K Max last year because there was some kind of interference with the remote. No issues at all with this one so far, and it’s got twice the memory as last years.
I’ve got the Amazon update IP addresses blocked in my custom firewall, so hopefully this one will won’t update. When I check for update it says error.
The same method doesn’t work on my older 4K fire stick 6.7. Accessibility manager can’t get ADB access. I have to use launcher Mini which opens projectivy when I push Home, takes a few seconds.
