higher benchmarks than the Google Streamer, and the Onn 4k Pro? Plus it potentially has AI upscaling? Sounds too good to be true. Maybe Wal-Mart mislabeled it lol.

The price now shows $29.88.
I think it will perform great for that price.

I’m still a fan of the $19.88 Onn boxes and think they are underrated price vs performance. The Pro is great, this looks like another good option. The only one not worth a hoot is the $14 Onn stick.

I’m with @AMD237 and others…I have a older $20 Onn in the upstairs bedroom on the other side of the house and at times it does better then the $50 Onn Pro in the living room–go figure–but I’m a big fan of both…

It seems like a nice alternative for a mid point priced device. I have the original and the pro. I would not get one of these, both work flawlessly. Thank you for the heads up.

I once brought up benchmark scores in a different thread, And when they looked unfavorable to the onn box I was discussing, Everyone pounced on it saying those scores don’t mean anything, or very little.Hard to figure

I’m not interested in benchmarks. This is a streaming device not a gaming machine. They stream well, the Pro has an abundance of memory. It’s why we bought them.

The ONN boxes are awesome! $50 for the 4K Pro. I just don’t understand spending $500 for that box in the other thread.

I just bought it for $49.88 plus tax … ran a tad over $50. Works great and a plus is that the TV remote also controls it, so no need to have two remotes handy.

That sounds like you bought the Pro not the Plus based on the price.

My Pro buffers on Kodi & Stremio much more often than the older ones. Not sure why. Exactly the same setup on both.

My guess is it’s not the pro, it’s the source that isn’t giving you the bandwidth. This almost 100% of the time unless you have an internet network problem to be looked at. Choose a better source on Stremio, I use it all the time and Kodi, is not an app I enjoy tbh. It never works as it should unless you pay for premium streams.

I believe you are 100% right. I think the folks are not reading that it doesn’t refer to the “PLUS”
