I hope @TROYPOINT will address this issue.

Iā€™m looking into possible adb commands to do what ya need. Still looking.

If youā€™re doing a box for someone, just make a Google account and assign it to the new owner, they can then change password. Example: John Doe is my friend who wants a box. Create a new generic Gmail account like johndoe9876543@ Gmail. Then just give him the new account, and have him change the password

I understand your solution but I believe I should be able to disconnect without formatting the box rather its my box or for someone else.

Yeah, i see that as an option, donā€™t like it but that is one way, until someone finds a way to do it without having to do that.

Till there is a workaround which i know people are looking into this, but for the short term, this might be the only option, i might end up having to create a new acct just so i can send this one box out.

Thatā€™s what I do and I use the same email account when I set stremio up on it as well. Iā€™ll even sign people up for real debrid initially and set that up the same way basically a disposable Gmail account.

Disabling the launcher thru ADB and using something like Flauncher and button mapper, then going to settings and accounts then just pressing Remove would make it so you wouldnā€™t get annoyed with that Login screen. Only issue is Playstore doesnā€™t work sadlyā€¦

Sorry im seeing this topic late but there is an easy way to get around this factory reset issue. Go into settings and enable " Developer Mode " then enable USB debugging .
Now when you go to remove your Google account you will see " Basic mode" added to the option and not just remove account with factory reset . Select basic mode and this will remove your account without doing a factory reset . The person that is going to use the box can sign into their own account and then the play store will be available.
Good luck

You can disable Google from tracking you when you start up your device when it asks you to accept terms and conditions. Just uncheck the box .

You guys should stick to non mainstream devices Amazon, Google and Android OS streaming devices will ask for basic email. Surprised yā€™all didnā€™t already know this. If you are trying to be Eric Snowden Amazon, Google or Android OS products is not for you. And whatā€™s that expensive device thatā€™s saves all your info and you have to plug it in each time you want to use a saved password or something. I stopped listening after I heard the price but itā€™s some kind of encrypted device that secures all your info so none of it is on any devices IDK Iā€™m not describing it correctly but itā€™s something like what I described. And itā€™s not an encryption key either something fancy

Thank you sir Pi. Ima try this.
