RAI failure can't download ES File Explorer

I’m trying to download and install ES File Explorer with RAI and the download just starts and stops. I need to clear up some room on my Firestick - have already cleaned up unused aps and caches but still have most on my space filled. I want to know, with what? But cannot “see” you delete anything else.
Should I delete and re-install RAI?

Go into your app management and in the amazon apps like shopping, music, amazon kids, photos etc. if you aren’t using them the click on them, force stop, and clear data, not just the cache, clear data. That may clear a surprising amount of space for you.
