Couldn’t find a way to add favorites or even find it in setting . I love the build just can’t figure out anything about favorites. I’m not real tech savvy obviously. Too old I guess. Is there anyone who could help with this?

When taking pictures of kodi with copyright materials in it you will have to do what the topoc creator did and blur it when using it on the insider. Its a pain i know but i have explained this.

Also awesome to see favorites on the main front page like that, this should help others. Thanks

If you highlight settings then click down and highlight skin, click it. This will bring you to a page with 2 columns, on the left side scoll to home layout then scroll right and down to customize home menu and shelves if you click on that you will find a ton of options to customize your build to your liking you could literally make a full-time job :wink: playing in here. Thanks Papa. I’ve actually gotten that far. Not sure what to do after 1 click the shelf menu? I mean customize home and shelves section.when I get there I’m lost.

@BWJ1 to tell you the truth a little over a week ago I was in exactly the same spot you’re at now. Believe me when I say I’m no techie but I am stubborn. I spent countless hours trying to customize it the way I wanted. I wish I could give you a straight shooting tutorial on this but I just kept playing with it until I figured out how to get what I wanted, all trial and error. Just be adventurous, have fun and remember you’ll never burn down the house if you press the wrong button. Good luck and stream on.

No, when you’re in that screen and you highlight one of the menus items on the left ( TV Shows, Movies) you move the cursor to the right window pane and at the very top look for a + symbol . That’s for adding sections. Click on it. Then follow through the options that the menu gives you after clicking it. Good luck .

New here to this forum. Is there any way to get “The portal” added to the movie section? It’s a great way to search through movies other than just looking at the poster art.

T2K Portal, or what portal are you talking about? You can add whatever addon you want and access them by going through the settings menu. I’m not going to walk you through the many steps and possibilities of customizing the home screen to make a shortcut for it. There are plenty of guides on Google for that.

Since I downloaded JayHawke’s build the only change I made was not pulling 4K feeds because I don’t use them. Everything else is perfect. My Trakt works flawlessly and as been said if you know how to use Trakt, no problem. If you start to customize it too much , you might as well just do a stripped down version yourself. The purpose of the Skeleton build is simplicity. You really need to go into the guts of Kodi to get an idea how it works .

Perfectly stated. After I made this I even altered my own version to make it more personalized to my liking. I only made it the way it is now to fit most people’s needs. In my own version I made main menu items for the Trakt movies and Trakt shows collection with their own widgets. And the widgets show a lot more thumbnails but take a few seconds longer to load.
