I’ve been testing Sparkle TV since the 15th of August. Simply really to test out it’s timeshifting abilities. So far so good on that point (i should mention as well i have a lifetime version of CosmiTV - both of them look identical in their menus and layout)
The big problem i see is that you cannot view the full description of any program or any channel EXCEPT for the program or channel you are watching at a specific time. IOW, i can’t scroll up or down to another channel or even scroll ahead in the channel i am currently watching to another time slot & view the FULL description of programs coming up. For instance, let’s just say it’s 1 PM, viewing a program that goes to 2 PM - i am on, let’s say Discovery channel. I can view the full description of that channel ONLY for that time slot & the particular program playing in that time slot. If i scroll to say 5 PM on same channel to see the description of what the program is about, i only get what is on the EPG, often only a partial description. I have been back & forth with the developer (btw, his name is Linus) I have sent him pictures to try & explain the issue. I told him neither TiviMate nor CosmiTV have this issue. I can scroll to any channel at any time & get the full description of every program in the guide. Unfortunately, i haven’t been able to do that with Sparkle.
I sure hope i’ve explained myself well enough. Maybe i’ve overlooked a step (or two, three…) which would allow me to see full descriptions of programs. Does anyone have the solution to my problem. I had an issue the other day where i was in the Movies category looking only at a partial description of the movie. I set it to record, only to find out when i went into DVR section where i could now see the full description that i was not interested in the movie. The developer wants me to send him pictures from CosmiTV to show him how his guide works.
If there is no solution or workaround, i will not shell out the $20 when CosmiTV does the exact same things Sparkle does but much better, especially with this EPG issue i’m facing.

You have to get a sub from an iptv provider and then install it on your player.
Is it best to turn off SLEEP mode on fire tv to make sure that sparkle works at all times ?
The developer responds to his reddit group more often.

I can’t get my firestick to login to the share account. I paid for a years subscription on the Google play app and put my email and password in the share area on the app but when I go into the firestick app and try to login into the share account it says user name or password incorrect. Anyone know what I can do to be able to fix this. I have tried everything and nothing works

Amazon doesn’t honor apps you get on Google play store.

That’s not correct because I had to download tivimate app on Google Play and sign up for the subscription then set it up on my firestick and it works fine.
Can you use Mac IPTV codes in Sparkle ?

I think you downloaded the TiViMate Companion app from the playstore, which is what I did, onto my phone. Then once I had the premium paid for, got my login info, I installed TiViMate onto my firestick from Troy’s toolbox, opened it up, went to activate premium and entered the info from the companion app. Not sure if Sparkle would work the same way but Troy does have a tutorial on installing SparkleTV onto a Firestick, maybe have a look and see if he did it a different way.

I paid for Tech Doctors app cache cleaner and app killer from Amazon and couldn’t use them on Google device so I figured it would be the same🤷
Where do you get the pay version ? I can’t find it in Play store .
New sparkle version does mac nee. . Smarters 4.0 can now also.
Download the app and the option to upgrade is in the settings.
Thanks ! I have stalker portal files that I installed in Sparke plus that works in TiVimate but will not work in Sparkel . What am I doing wrong ?
Nothing. I have seen mac and XC work in Tivimate and not work in OTT navigator and Sparkle and vice versa. PM me to talk more about this.
