Hey Troy, if you’re out there it sure would be nice to hear your take on this discussion.

Surfshark is one of the top VPNs on the market and it comes loaded with tons of useful features.
While the service will work just fine right out of the box, with just a few tweaks you can optimize it to bolster your privacy and security and enhance your user experience.

I agree with you @itzme, Surfshark is a great VPN and i use it too. My original question and further discussion is about the functionality of the app. How certain settings, using the Bypass feature do and don’t effect your protection. I thought it was a discussion worth having. :v:

After you toggle the Bypass on or off you need to disconnect the Surfshark VPN then toggle it back on before it takes effect. Not sure if you did that before running the test. I have had Surfshark show on but not actually work a few times myself. Wondering if I go the router method would it be 100 percent effective in killing internet if Surfshark fails while using internet. I use a privacy dot as well but if both fail and they can… Anyone know if you put on router will it be 100% effective in protecting IP and DNS you set?

I’ve had nothing but success with SS Killswitch
