I’m with you on that, you need a backup.

I have Tivimate premium & MX Pro. However, while recording a sports program I went into MX Pro and did not see my program. What am I doing wrong? Thank you

Your recordings should be stored in your file manager. You can check there and in Tivimate under Recordings.

You can “elect” to play your content on an external player such as MX Pro, VLC, etc…

I use an external USB flash drive for all of my videos. I don’t save any videos on my cube. Open up your MX player go to the upper right hand corner of the page the icon second from the left looks like a file click on it Under view mode, make sure that all folders is selected. This way MX player should be looking for both internal and external videos it can play. Also, please remember MX player will only play what is recorded in the file. So if you tell a recording to start an immediately go to watch it, it won’t work. Start recording then wait 10 to 15 minutes. Then open up MX player. After the 10 minute recording, you will need to close MX player open up the file, fast forward where you left off and watch the next segment. See if that works. Let me know if that helps.

One Other thing. When you first open MX player, it should say folders in the upper left-hand corner. You will have a red circle with a number in it if it says one, you have one new recording that you have not watched. Click on it. When you first open it up there maybe nothing. Scroll down or push down and then push up. The latest recording sometimes is hidden at the very top and not shown. Good luck

Well, I’ll be chicken fried! There sure is allowed storage there. I have NEVER even looked at the app. I downloaded it and have only ever used it for an external player.

I even had stuff on there stored from the Shields Game Recordings, Send Anywhere file, and even one from Media Fire for a web stream.

Of course, without using some caution I deleted everything and apparently in the process of deleting I disabled my own external USB drive. So, I had to dig my way to the back of my TV to get to my Shield to re-plugin the USB drive. lol

Weird thing is I new VLC does the same thing, but tbh, I only use those 2 apps for just an external player.

Thanks for the heads up!

Btw, I have MX Pro stored on my external drive.

Would you point me to a vid or thread that tells where to point your recordings? I am really struggling on where to tell tivimate to record.

I hope this helps. GL2U

Do you use MX as your player for playback on your IPTV services?

Not at home right now, but I believe @Miki posted a tutorial for you.

Usually use the exoplayer, but if I do use an external. I like vlc.

Yes I do but most of the time I use tivimate default player for streaming . If I watch a recording I use MX.

I tried your process on my shield pro, MX pro would not recognize the file that’s being recorded.

I am sorry I cannot help you with a shield pro. I use the Amazon cube. Most other people I know they got it to work. Use the fire sticks.
