Jack Black as Dewey in School of Rock.

Chevy Chase “National Lampoon Vacation’s”

Jim Carrey anything he is in

This is the hardest post I’ve had to decide on. Lots of good answers above. I considered any of the leads in Three Amigos (Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Martin Short), but I had to go with another classic:

Red Skelton and the Red Skelton show

Max Goldman Grumpy/Grumpier Old Men

Goodmorning Vietnam!
Robin Williams
Just to taste the black humour in spite of the horrors of war with such portrayed obvious personal pain was pure genius. You could taste the atmosphere of bitterness and absolute fear of the soldiers just able to retain their sanity through black humour and love in such feculant times
