Right on. As Ugoos fans, we know their devices do take a bit of work to set up the way you want but the freedom to do WHAT you want with them on open source apps makes it all worth while. The folks who just accept or prefer limited, proprietary or closed system devices just don’t know what they are missing.

Agreed. What i particularly like with the UR02 remote, is the grey programmable buttons.
I have programmed the two top right ones to operate my soundbar sound modes and info/ audio codecs.
It works a treat.
Yes sir. This remote is definitely an upgrade from the older one. I find I didn’t have to use my Rii remote at all when setting up the SK 1.

But Ali Express website in China has stock.
I bought my AM8 from Mini pc box tv store in Hong Kong. Although its website states authorised dealer, Ugoos have confirmed that the store has nothing to do with Ugoos company.
But their website is very similar to the official Ugoos website.
This was discussed numerous times on the English Ugoos Telegram site.
However, they do send out the order very quickly and my device arrived within 8 days.

That’s where I got mine but I thought it was an official UGOOS dealer too. Oh well, it all worked out.

Hey PapaS…no problem. I bought two from them over a different period, and they were quick and responsive.
It was just clever marketing website, that led me and a few others to think they were the official store.
But they still provide a good service. I returned one that was faulty, and had it eventually replaced, after i contacted Ugoos directly.

I’d suggest buying from the Mini PC TV Box store where PapaS and I bought ours. No sales tax and only $15 extra for expedited shipping. I got mine 12 days after ordering. Amazon has the SK 1 but it is $245 plus tax.
