Do you like the button in the middle like that? Seems cluncky but that’s just by looking at the pics. And is it really necessary?

I think of the nvidia netflix button when i see it. Which i was able to change to a mute button thankfully.

If you’re referring to the blue button I don’t use it. Star button I have mapped to TiviMate.

I think it was a Fu$ked up Design. They made this Big Button in the middle that said “Free TV” which was next to a Button for “Live TV” - It’s the exact same thing and they probably had trouble with the Backlighting and scrapped it for the remote everyone is getting now.

decided on the new ONN 4K PRO and am not sorry. one thing though, can i turn my Samsung TV on with Google Assistant? what do i have to do to the TV. it is a ten year old tv, maybe i can’t

I can with my Samsung tv and Samsung sound bar. Both around 7 years old.

Set up the onn pro remote to power
on both. Even if they are off they will power on if you ask Google a question. It will also switch to the Onn sceeen if you are watching something else, like cable, so be aware of that.

I can power both on with the remote button, but the hands free feature will not turn on the tv. Not a deal breaker, this device is superior to my fire cube in many levels

Not sure it will matter but see if you set up the ☆ button to control the source selection helps. Just a thought but no idea if it will work.

Btw, you may want to go to the onn pro thread(s) and ask around.

It works perfectly once the tv is on, just does not power on or off. Must be an old tv

I dont think you can change the Source by voice but if you are in a different source other than Onn the tv will switch to Onn. Or at least mine does.

But i dont think you can tell it to change to a different source. I tried to switch to cable and PS4 and neither worked.

I am having trouble with the color of real debrid links in cinemahd with ONN 4K Pro. All the debrid links are the same color as the standard links (white). Is anyone else having this same issue? If so how do you change the color of the debrid links?

Get a powered USB 3.0 hub, plug it in, then get a mini keyboard with a dongle and plug the dongle into one of the USB ports on the hub. Then you can use the KB with a track pad to manuever around any site, add txt where needed, and work you way around settings and choose the ones you want with ease.
