I’m using and older version 2.5.0-Analytics. I don’t think its still available for download. However, I did dowload the latest adfree version and it seemed to work okay. I downloaded it from APKTime store.

Wish I knew a way to send you a copy. But, I not that tech savvy.

Lol, still building up my nerves. But, all the issues in some of the kodi thread have made me gun shy again. Stremio and Cinema are working well again for me, so I pushed pause on kodi. Been watching my 2024 christmas movies on YouTube. All well in my streaming world.

Will let you know when I take the plunge. I might need your help if I run into problems. I’ll definitely follow TP video and guide.

Renew RD now and stay with it as long as you can. I was moving down to AZ for the winter during the initial panic, and I switched Seren to Premiumize a few weeks ago. It’s not up to the RD standard. Fewer sources to choose from, occasional buffering, and once in a while it just blacks out mid-program.
I’m going to install the update umbrella and return to RD.

No issues with KODI as long as you use working Addons like Umbrella, FEN, etc…There’s plenty of great working Addons. Don’t let old posts deter you from KODI. These apps and APK’s like Cinema come and go. Just my Opinion

Hi mslea,Ohh nice, ill download the latest then. Its not a problem about sending a copy, I understand. I can try the latest one. I know my old version wont go back to the way it was. Im surprised it lasted that long. Thanks again! :wink:

What version were you using? Try one thing before you install latest version. Download Xplore File Manager and see if a backup file is there. If so, you should be able to reinstall.

RD’s Hoster: ‘unchecked’ does not appear to mean ‘uncached’ . . currently able to use RD with FenLite and Umbrella and sources appear fast and strong with no request to download first if I use RD as my source
Premiumize shows Hoster: cached.

Yeah “unchecked” seems to be the work around wording and how its used through RD. Whatever it is, it seems to be working for now.

Premiumize, as far as I know, doesn’t need to change their service like RD and AD had to do. So it remains cached.

PM is in a different country.

My RD subscription expires the end of this month. So are you suggesting that it is safe to renew it? I thought that RD was no longer available. I really don’t want to change as I have used them for years and I trust them.

If you are using KODI it is working great on Umbrella and some other Addons. My sub is good through July 2025. I bought a 1 month sub to Premiumize me but if RD keeps working I’m not going to renew Premiumize

Yep, I’ve watch some of the older Hallmark movies on Tubu as well. I just love my Hallmark movies. Also, network, Great American Country (GAC) has some great movies too.

Lol, I am all over free streaming platforms searching them out.

Hey guys, I’ve got Umbrella working with RD. I see unchecked instead of cached. Because of the recent problems I also have a one month subscription with P. When I try to pull up an RD stream listed as unchecked, it says it has to download into the RD cloud. The same link on P. pulls up directly.
Does anyone know if there are consequences to using an unchecked link?

Yes, I am still using KODI Umbrella so I am going to subscribe to RD for as long as possible. Thanks. :slight_smile:

Haven’t had any problems or consequences with unchecked RD. Unchecked doesn’t necessarily mean uncached. It’s possible you may have to pick and choose (trial & error) as you down the list … but you should be able to find one that plays to your satisfaction. I’m not having any problems so far👍

Well it’s very good news that rd and pm are working well. Since there was a little “change” in the way they did things. I was having problems getting things to work. In my trials and tribulations this is what worked easiest for me, tho it seems like not the fastest I found it the least stressful. Go to Troy’s “MOST EXCELLENT” (flashback to “Wayne’s World” funny movie, love the Pacer) tutorials. Try not to use outdated media players. Totally uninstall then reinstall what you are using as the developers have modified things in some cases. by all means follow the tute all the way thru and make sure you get the scrapers correct. AND keep things updated.

Umbrella & Fen lite are my 2 go to addons now,re-upped for 3months RD last night,9$ isnt a huge risk

Morning @mthr1,

I finally took the plunge and loaded Kodi and Umbrella/CoCo/ real debrid on my new ONN 4K Pro box. I must say I did get frustrated during the 2 hour process. Frist, my remote took forever to pair. Then, took couple of tries before the zip files created for Umbrella and CoCo add ons. Still think its too much trouble for me. But, I didn’t delete will wait until another day to play around with the Umbrella settings. I might want to load a skins. But, definitely another day. Too many moving pieces. Must build my courage back up again.

@Mslea Congrats for starting your KODI journey. Don’t worry about messing with Skins. Do a search for a few of your TV shows and movies and Add to Favorites. (Long click and then you will see the drop down to Add to Favorites) I don’t want to overwhelm you but a much better option than favorites is to use Trakt TV. It’s cloud based and Free so will work on all your devices. And you can Add shows and Movies directly from your Trakt account and they will automatically be in KODI.

You can do it! Add the Crew also so you will have an awesome backup to Umbrella if/when you need it!
