Neo, I am a 79-year-old senior and I am not very savvy with all this lingo that you guys use… I still use RD on my SHIELD PRO and I have not come across any problems yet… My question is what is torrentio?
Also my renewal on RD is coming up… I would be grateful for your advice is to renew or not to renew.
BLESSINGS to you Neo.

@BassMeister Hey young man! RD is still working great for me - so I will continue to renew.

I’m no expert… but here you go:

Torrentio is a plugin for Stremio app - torrentio allows the use of RD with Stremio.

The only 2 apps I use for shows and movies are CinemaHD and Stremio (with torrentio). And RD still works great for both.

I use Firestick4k

Thank you Neo for the young man compliment, lol.
It’s still somewhat above my head but you say you’re still using RD… If that is the case then I might still sign up for it again… I still get some links and have not had a problem so far… I’m on a limited income and to try to pay extra for premuize (I know the spelling is wrong but I think you get the idea) for me is really something I can’t afford…
Since you were so kind to return a response to my question, what is your thought: should I continue with real debrid ?
Thank you again for your time.

Hi @BassMeister,

I’m also still using RD. My subscription expires in Jun 25. I will continue to renew for 180 days until it no longer provide links. I never take action fast. I always wait for them to create a workaround.

Thank you Mslea… I will take your advice and continue with it… My question is do you think there will be a workaround?

There has been a workaround for weeks now if you are using KODI. Most of the Addon developers fixed the RD issue in a few days. My RD sub is good through July of next year and I plan on continuing to use it. If something were to happen where RD stopped working again and there was NO fix, I’d just buy a 1 month sub to Premiumize again

There was a workaround. But, we are just getting fewer RD links. You might want to reauthorized RD in your streaming apps. I did it and it helped a little. I’m hoping as time goes on we will see an increase in RD links. Also, using the most current version of apps used can help as well. I’m using Cinema HD Stable and Stremio daily. However, I bounce around several differrent apps until I get links for watch I want to watch.

Hope this can help you

I am using real-Debrid links in my Kodi but on occasion when I open a link I get a movie with no audio . Anybody know what may be causing that ?

Thank you Mslea… This truly helps I did not think about re-authorizing Rd… One last question I hope… how do I update an app? I am going to put on UMBRELLA but right now I’m using MORIA which has been working ok.
I promise I won’t bother you again.
You truly truly have been inspiration… It makes you think positively now LOL.

Could be a missing audio codec in your player. You may want to install VLC and try using it as an external player in the App you are using.

Unfortunately I don’t really use Kodi. I think Kodi notifies you, when there is an addon update available. I use stand alone apps. Tried Kodi, but not a big fan of it.

Sorry

Apps are updated by the Addon developer. Make sure you have updates enabled so any updates get installed. Here are the instructions on how to use Umbrella. Make sure you authorize Real Debrid and Trakt if using

Thank you Mark for responding… I will certainly go over my settings.

@BassMeister : Hey young blood! RD still working well with the apps I use, but I don’t use Kodi. The kodi clan are saying that RD still works well with Kodi-Umbrella (and reauthorize RD). If I were you, I’d continue using RD until your current subscription ends… then re-evaluate.

firestick coming to an end? What exactly do you mean and why do you think that? I just got 2 new firestick 4k’s - they work perfectly! Better than my old generic android boxes!

I think these comments perhaps are not quite correct. I think what PPL mean is that the FireOS is coming to an end. Amazon announced that a new OS is coming out on the Firesticks in the future.

That’s probably your device not supporting that particular audio codec.
Kodi is probably the best open source supported media players for codec support.

Good point.
It’s one of the main reasons that I no longer regard the Strenio vs Kodi argument as being an apples to apples comparison.
