Troy’s detailed step by step dummy proofs the install. Even if you botch it, it won’t affect anything you already have installed and working.

At worst, it would only take 30 mins to install Kodi, a repository, and a scraper - with configuring your premium service (RD or PM).

Do you know if the ONN 4k have enough space to download kodi and a couple addons? Or should I just use a build? Lol, I can’t be missing my christmas mivies

@Mslea - Yeah, there’s plenty of room. I have my Onn 4k, used for travel (which I am currently doing now) freshly loaded with Kodi and 4 repositories - no issue with storage.

Again - don’t be too hesitant to get your hand dirty a little bit. There is a little more pre-work in setup for Kodi, but it’s not that daunting, especially if you use Troy’s guide…even for beginners.

@Mslea RD links seem to be working with kodi/the crew wife can’t believe I actually like Hallmark movies lol just an old softie I guess bur been able to get links using above for these Hallmark Very Merry Collection, Hallmark Mysteries Christmas, Hallmark Channel, Great American Family Christmas so far I’m caught up on them all LOL :grinning:

Mslea, Jayhawks has a really great tutorial on setting up Kodi. I highly recommend it. He just make it so easy. Just watch the tutorial before you start setting up Kodi. I’ll see if I can find the link for you.

Found it! I’m not certain that The Crew is the best choice for an addon. You might look at Troy’s latest listing of best addons.

Umbrella is the best right now and may be the only one still working with Real Debrid as far as I know.

Thank you so very much for info. Getting closer to taking the Kodi plunge. Still a little nervous about setup and navigation. I’m a one click streamer. But, if Kodi open the door for my christmas movies then I’m all in.

I’ll let you know how everything goes.

I love Umbrella with Arctic Zephyr Reloaded skin. I have figured out how to modify what I want to change on the skin and add-on, as I have tinkered more with it than any other add-on I’ve ever used. My RD does still work very well on it, not sure if that is temporary or not. I add Umbrella to Kodi, change the skin to Arctic Zephyr Reloaded, add EZ Maintenance + to clear its cache as I open Kodi, and then just set up the menus and other options that look good to my eye. If Kodi would have been this good before Umbrella came around, I would have used it more for sure. It is like a streaming apk on steriods, that actually allows you to customize pretty much everything to your liking.

I would hold off on switching to any other skins until you get pretty comfortable with navigating around the stock menus and settings.

When you’re using step by step guides available out there, the steps mainly reference Kodi’s vanilla stock UI.

Skins vary the path on where you access certain menu and setting options.

So to avoid any beginner confusion, save the custom skins for later.

The Diggz build has a ton of Christmas movies available and should work nicely on your Onn box.

That’s right, you have the ONN Pro box, right?. You should have plenty of room for a build. I don’t use builds but like Jimmy_J says The Diggs build might be the way to go.

I recall that JPM and Mark really like that build so maybe they could weigh in and give you a hand or at least answer questions.

I wouldnt necessarily call any of the diggz builds hard to load or set up but they are loaded with lots of extras bedsides movie/tv addons. Such as Live TV, sports, arcade, music and a few others.

However if there is a category you dont want to see everytime you load kodi you can easily hide it from view with a click of a button.

It offers Debrid and non debrid builds as well.

There should be a few diggz threads here to find info too. But try to keep to the more recent ones as the build set up was changed.
