For all those successfully now using Premiumize since the RD/AD outages, I have to warn of the following “note” that I found on the Premiumize “Help” site:
“Our VPN service is very secure and developed in-house. We do not log any personal data. We only log generated traffic in megabytes for the fair use system. As our jurisdiction is in Belgium we are not forced to store or hand out any data, so we are not subjective to National Security letters or gag orders.
We are not legally required to keep any logs and we do not use servers in countries, that would force us to (e.g. Russia or India). Should countries where we have our server locations ever pass such a law, we will discontinue the location.”
Belgium borders France, of course…so, I have an uneasy feeling about PM, too

Not sure why you are worried about Belgium, PM head company is located in Malaysia. But if you have chosen a server in a country that gets shut down then pick another one. I am not sure I use their VPN as I didn’t sign up for, or ask to use, their VPN. I have my own.

But they do state “jurisdiction is in Belgium”…I hope you’re correct about the Malaysian connection…Where did you find that Premiumize claim of Malaysian residence…I’ve been trying to verify it but I’m not finding it…

If your not downloading any torrernts and just playing or watching what is the best recommendation ? I never download in apps like cinema or teatv I just select a like and play. Also, should I use a Vpn . I live in Canada.

PM has been around for 13 yrs. Yes their service suffered a little bit of buffering issues due to the sudden surge of new sign ups they were not expecting. They are doing their best to correct their issues. I do have some small issues with glitching in their 4K HDR releases but all I have to do is drop down to a 1080 and let my Shield upscale to 4K and I’m G2G.

I always use a VPN, especially with torrents but that is my personal preference. Others don’t use any VPN as most premium server services are encrypted. So there are no one choice for all options.

Pretty sick, rd turning on the their loyal customers who made them rich. Maybe they need to try something else instead. I would NEVER use their service again after seeing this shyt.

I find RDs response astonishing considering they are still providing links to us in the UK! Are they seriously going to say they didn’t know and aren’t complicit in these “piracy activities”? That’s just a joke. I wonder how long they will be around after this fiasco?

Using Cinema, error message on RD on sime links but not all even when I, logged in and out (both Cinema & RD). Error 404 and Message “Permission denied (or account locked). Please check your subscription.” My subscription is good through January 2025.
I think a two or three year sub for Premiumizeme is too much money to commit when things are so up in the air.
One thing Premiumize has going for it, is that it is in a different country to RD and AD, so different legislations and laws apply.

The fact that PM is based in Hong Kong may or may not be a good thing.
One website says,
“Hong Kong retains its own money, passport and immigration channels, and legal system, but the chain of command leads straight back to Beijing.”
I don’t believe that anything that is in any way associated with China is truly private. They can decipher anything.

$139 for 3 yrs is quite reasonable compared to a cable bill at double that for 1 month. But that’s why we all have choices. PM is located in Malaysia.
