I use an Nvidia Shield exclusively, and it’s only the Livingroom TV. Having audio issues for a few years now. Haven’t been able to solve it. It’s when I’m using HDMI or optical cable from soundbar to TV. If I’m watching Kemo IPTV or Stremio, the audio will cutout for a second continuously. The only remedy has been to connect through bluetooth whenever I’m watching content on those apps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try using another player. In Stremio I had sound issues with the sound cutting out for a couple of seconds. Troy addressed this issue. In Stremio I went to Settings>Playback>Default Player and switched it from the ExoPlayer to libVLC and that fixed it for me. Perhaps install MX Player Pro and then choose it if you don’t want to try the libVLC. In IPTV(Tivimate) I had VLC installed and used it. Let us know if it helped please.
