Just sharing TDUK video on saving apps on usb or computer to send/load on another device using MiXplorer. He mentions that "Amazon’s Trying to BLOCK ". I’m going to try this one out one day.

Another reason I’m glad that I quit using Fire TV crap and moved onto Android TV. At one time Fire TV was only option for us but not anymore!

I totally understand. But, I still use my 4K Max firestick daily. Will use until it no longer works. I also, have the 4K ONN Pro. Use it daily as well. I prefer the firestick remote functionality over the ONN box remote. All in all I just want a box that allows me to stream.
Stream on !!!

The video is about MiXplorer, it is my go to filesystem app. I use it to update apps on my Firestick USB storage and it works on all Android/Google TV devices.
It’s pretty handy, you can copy any installed app and it will make an .APK file, you can then move the file however you want, I use “Send File to TV” to transfer apps between my devices when needed.
In the video TDUK copy’s to a USB stick and he demonstrates using the servers. The last time I did a factory reset I just copy and install using MiXplorer and sent them to the device I want to restore directly with “Send Files to TV”.
I should note it creates a APK of the current installed version including any updates but it does not copy configuration data, you have to install and login and configure the app.
