Ok, that’s it. I’m back to Google. DuckDuckGo search results suck big time. I try to search for even my local restaurants and the results, although plentiful, are far from helpful. Frequently it gets stuck on one topic, when using a specific search parameter, none of which are even remotely close to what I want, and I have to literally go through dozens and dozens of pages to try and find what I want, often without any luck. I went back to Google and did a search with the same parameter and found what I wanted in under 30 seconds.

I’ve known and tried off and on Duckduckgo for over a decade. It was always subpar for me even though they boast privacy. For as much as we are not thrilled about google, they are still one of the best, if not the best search engine out there. It’s my go to.

I tried both brave, and duck duck go, and they do come up with some items on the search engine however they’re not as good as Google on the quantity. But I do like them because they’re not as cluttered as Google.

Duck duck go for most and vivaldi secondaru if needed!

I like Brave and just discovered Perplexity app. Cool!

They always find what they’re looking for too!!! ;))))

So many paranoid conspiracy theorists. Whatever

Thanks for the info Troy. I use Brave and really like using it.

I’ve been using DuckDuckGo for years now. Trying to get stubborn family members to switch to but not much success. Oh well. You will love it Miki

Actually I don’t. I find the results are less than helpful, and when it latches onto something it gives countless results that have absolutely nothing to do with what I’m looking for. I know many like it, but after a 3 day attempt I trashed it.

Hi Miki, have you tried startpage search? They use googles search query and their searches are encrypted and they don’t track and your searches. Same company that owns start mail.

Well thank you for your suggestion and recommendation. I will certainly have a look at it. Be well and have a wonderful day.

You do the same.
