Does anyone know if the current Amazon devices are going to all be converted to their new os? Or will they be staying on Android?

Devices already in use or manufactured will not change to Vega. Only the new devices coming out in 2026 I suspect.

They can’t because Amazon is currently re-coding apps for Vega. So if they forced an upgrade nothing would work. Law suites would ensure.

Vega is Linux based and Fire is Android base . They aren’t cross compatible
