So my Onn Pro finally crashed out for the third time! Now, before people try to insinuate that it is an app I have, I know that is wrong. Why? It’s because I use the same apps on my other boxes, even cheap ones and there is no problem. I even bought a different power adapter, from 1.5amps to 2.0 input because some said that might be an issue. I have never had so many problems as with this one. Not sure anymore of why this is happening. I really wanted this to work because of all the features. My MeCool KM7 works just great with the same apps. So I will be looking for another box because it has to work ALL the time for my wife to use. I’m at work now and she calls me to say it crashed. She is very patient and getting good with this equipment.I know for others they say the Onn works great for them, for me not so much

Bummer that happened and it is strange this is the 3rd time. Are your other boxes hooked up to the same power source? Thinking if not it might have something to do with the power but I’m just throwing darts here because for you to have 3 ONN Boxes crash makes no sense. In any event I would certainly not recommend this Box - The TX - 10 Pro. IMO it is marketed illegally on Alibaba. No 4K functionality, limited Wifi speeds, and the 128MB of storage is really under 10

Yes, especially when all are directly plugged in to the wall, no surge protectors and they all work well. I did just get 2 of the tx10 pros just for fun. For $10 each no loss. But will e\be looking for another box soon because I’m upgrading my TVs to an OLED and want the best picture quality. So no 4K with the TX? That’s kind of a waste of time. I have no idea why they would be crashing. This one has worked great for the past 3 weeks then this. No indication of problems

I would test the TX10’s yourself but most of us that got this box cannot get 4K to play, have significantly slower wifi (I get 370-380 NO VPN on all devices) only managed 60 Mbps, and the storage is supposed to be 128 GB - I had under 5 GB

When I set up the Onn for the third time I didn’t go into the security settings and turn off auto updates from Google Play. Any chance this caused the problem there were apps not from GP . The error screen states it can’t restart the Android system. Just curious

Hey guys i managed to get a refund for the 2 boxes of £16.89 i paid £20.89 so im assuming alibaba keeps their cut. I think everyone who bought them should apply for their money back as the product is not as described and they will keep getting away with this con.
The seller was not very helpful saying i bought 8+128 box but it is true 1+8 lol and that is the price i paid for, even tho the box and android device had 8+128 on it.
Im still looking for a cheap device to use for offline viewing of video files, deffo not on alibaba lol.

Hey @Remy sorry no idea on this. Not sure why you would want to turn off auto updates. I didn’t and have zero issues with my ONN Pro

Thanks for letting us know. Was only $11 but if I only have to click a few buttons for a return I’ll try and get it back. Shame that Alibaba is a complete SCAM. My first and Only time I’ll ever use a Cheap China site for a Cheap China Box!!! :rofl:

I hope everyone has learned their lesson here. From now on buy your boxes from Amazon. when you get a lemon like this you can stroll into your local Whole Foods and drop it on the counter and instantly get your money back and do some grocery shopping at the same time!

Yeh first and last for me too. Start the refund process then ask alibaba to mediate when you can. Have to wait so many days.

No the process takes about a minute. Hopefully if enough of us rat this seller out either the box or the seller or both will be kicked out of Alibaba
