No worries, we are all learning here everyday. To be clear on this topic, HDMI will carry your audio and video if utilized, you won’t need RCA cables or any of the older style cables.

**What is HDMI?**

HDMI was created in 2002 as a way to bring audio and video into the digital age. As opposed to its predecessors VGA, RCA, and others that require a mess of multiple connections and wires, HDMI is a one-cable for-all solution that transports both video and audio over one connection.

The boogeymans mama didn’t raise no dummies.

Red, White, Blue cable FTW! Made my Day!..I remember having a draw for my extra cables and before I threw them out seemingly decades ago there were so many of these clumpy Red, White, and Blue cables!

Right guys my boxes have arrived.

Ive signed into google downloaded a few apps, a little slow installing apps.
Done a speed test with analiti for wifi, i usually get 35mb down, the box got 10mb down.
I tried to install aida64 for hardware info but the app will not install, i think they may of blocked this to stop you viewing system info. I did download android system info and this shows 4.2gb as internal storage and 1gb ram of memory. But when you go into storage settings of android it shows 128gb storage and 8gb ram which i think is a lie, probs hardcored onto that part of the settings.

Anyone know a good system info app other than aida64?

Also when inserting a usb stick into usb slot it comes up in storage saying usb drive is safely ejected lol.

Also forgot to mention output in kodi is locked to 720p.

You said kodi is locked at 720? How do they control the kodi setting?

They don’t. I think he meant he could only get 720 sources to play nothing higher. The highest I got was 1080

Gotcha. Thats why i was confused when he said it was locked at 720.

Weird that yours can get 1080 but his is stuck at 720.

Well since he was only able to get 10 Mb I suspect that might have to do with it. At least I could get 60 no VPN

Yeah i am curious about the speeds I’ll get. Not looking forward to it.

If the non vpn speed is decent I will use my RD links without worry. If I use it at all. Lol

Some other stuff may raise flags with my isp without my vpn. They’ve been known to warn me before. Mostly mma and other pov stuff.

The only setting in kodi for video output was 1280x720p. Also nothing in whitelist apart from that resolution. I didnt attempt to play anything. I think the box output must be locked at 720p?

Main android was set to 4k 60, this showed in android system info app.

@beachlife88 …i don’t think i gave you any info  but i would like to thank everyone that voted for me, i :sparkling_heart: :sparkling_heart: you all…and on behalf of everyone in this thread… :index_pointing_at_the_viewer: are WELCOME

I have both boxes and the T95z is good but the Onn Pro blows it away.

You’re welcome.

You have the allwinner cpu in the T95z correct?
