It would not let me change my zip code. so I think it was being sent to Outer Mongolia! Everything is good now. Bought 2 with .14 shipping

No the order didn’t go thru because they wanted still 63.57 for shipping. I have set up another account with them just for this. Did a chat with them and that was an experience! They stated I needed to negotiate with the shipper for better rates. I assume all of you are getting free. Did anyone have to go thru Trade Assurance?

I guess you arent in the continental US because the shipping price is crazy high. Or there is a big mistake somewhere.

I am only getting free shipping because of a Alibaba new member promotion. Everyone else is paying.

Trade Assurance seems to be an order protection service. Not sure how they deal with the shipping cost. I thought it would deal with lost or damaged delivery.

My order says shipping via Alibaba.com Logistics.

I’m in California, very continental. Just got a message from seller for $27 shipping for 2. I am a new member. Not sure why it should be so hard.

@JPM69 I officially give up trying to buy this box on Alibaba. I tried 2 credit cards and Paypal and getting a “transaction rejected due to security reasons” Called my bank and they are not blocking or holding. Chattted with Baba support and they are telling me this product is only set up to work with wire transfer. LOL I told them I know others who bought the exact same product with Paypal or a credit card. Horrible experience trying to make a purchase.

Ugh. No idea why for me it was a hassle free experience but you and @Remy had such a bad experience.

I still have to get the order so they still have time to mess it up.

I got 3 of them delivered last week and I have 5 of the 16gb/256gb boxes that should be delivered tomorrow. Delivery has always been quicker than what they show. Might be the company they are ordering them from always good experience with this company. The duties and tarriffs are included in the shipping which adds to the shipping costs.Only problem I had with shipping was at the local post office put it out to the wrong mail carrier which caused a 3 day delay . If you use order tracker website it will keep you updated on the delivery .

I didnt see an option for anything other than 8/128GB. But thats the one i was buying so i didnt look around too much.

I figured I would give it one more try to see if I could buy this box from Alibaba but apparently I failed some type of security check? Huh? They are telling me to pay by wire transfer. No way :joy:

The tx 20 offers the 16gb/256 config. I am happy with them they’re not shields but most folks I deal with can’t afford a shield . I don’t order any of these boxes expecting a 300 dollar box as i’m sure most on here don’t . Just for them to work good and last is most important. i have some of the first android boxes laid back that i hooked up last week to see if they still worked and they work but are what they are .I use Ethernet so they work great with that. Can’t say how wifi would work because everyone’s wifi setup isn’t equal and I’m four rooms from router.They have a good launcher but you can go directly from hompage to a generic android look .I use Tivimate which works great loaded down so far .The 256 boxes are the new Android 15 also .These TX 10’s have pretty good vent holes in the bottom and I haven’t had any heating problems running 15 hours with them. I set all my boxes on two usb sticks spaced out so more air can flow under them .I had no problems recording or sending files to usb from Tivimate . How they will do really long term can’t say yet .One thing I learned early was the seller you buy from might load up a box completely different than another seller .

If you are using a vpn might cause a problem .Also try from another seller they are all different.I got mine for 10.60 apiece .Sometimes i have had problems with paypal and such because of ip adress and their security .

cheap usb fans work great for cooling…i have one of the original X96max’s…4/64
old as heck that i have on big screen in the garage that’s always had a usb fan under it…the box has outlasted 1 fan so far…lol and still works great!

next on my radar come payday is a couple of those T20’s…i salivate just looking at those spec’s
stream onnnnnnn…thx Troy for the great site and love the discipline you guys have put on the buttheads…i luv it here
