Firestick menu bar apps missing

My Firestick men bar used to show some of my Apps but they have all disappeared. The menu bar only displays the following: Home Find Live and at the far right the Settings icon. How can I get some of my favorite/most used apps to be displayed on that menu bar again? I have restarted the Firestick & also unplugged but it still will not display any apps. – Thanks for any help.
