Thanks. That is what I did with this new 4K. Unfortunately the Troypoint app no longer has all the apps so his new installation has you gone through downloader to his toolbox to download the APK time and from that install cinema. It is nice that is doesn’t have any permissions other than being able to do what it needs to. Unlike ones that I found in the unlinked app that gives a lot of invasive permissions that are sketchy. He says to use the mx pro player but that prevented fast forwarding so I switched back to the built in player and Trakt and fast forwarding work well. However, it often cuts off in the middle of a show and gives the playback failed notice or buffers. And often when I back out at the end of an episode to go to something else, it grey screens and locks up. I was hoping that would stop with a new stick and having so much more storage available compared to the old stick but it still does it. And then you have to back all the out and either restart the app or go and force stop and clear cache. It seems to be required to do after about 3 episodes. And when it does this, it doesn’t send into to Trakt. I am not sure that I feel comfortable using anything without a vpn, I am a very unlucky person so I don’t usually leave anything to chance if it is possible not to.

I know the internet is more than fast enough so I don’t feel it is the issue, so is it just a function of cinema itself or is it possibly something else?

When ever I renew my RD, I mark on the calendar my expiration date. Be sure to use up any credit points.

RD would help themselves to send reminders of impending expiry on one’s account period.
Links populating but not opening is a good sign that your RD account is expired.

Just put the renewal date onto your phone calender.

I am not sure how the RD expiration got started on this thread but my RD is good till the middle of March, as I stated early on. I have no issue with keeping up with it.

After having the same issues after switching a new stick, it appears that IPVanish is the biggest problem. It is supposed to work well with Cinema but with 250-300mbps on my Wi-Fi , I should not be having buffering issues with a stream of 1.5gb. So after several people posted that they don’t use a vpn when using RD, I decided to try it. I don’t feel comfortable with it long term but being I don’t truly understand how each component of this type of streaming works, I am just trying to logically find answers. When using Cinema with IPVanish, I get streams on shows I didn’t get any streams on with the vpn and I do not have any buffering. So I am not sure why IPVanish is now an issue after using them since I started using a firestick in 2016. If anyone has some insight about that, I would appreciate the input. Thanks!

Yes, i have been seatching for the pin.

I tried to remember it. Afaik, it had 1989 plus 4 other numbers in it.

But there are other file linked codes with Cinema HD 2.6.0 ad free.

Yes, but I can’t find a clean Cinema HD 2.6.0 mod app without viruses. Your find sounds perfect.

I omly really used it as a backup. But since Stremio and Syncler, havent used it.

Don’t forget quite often a modded app will be seen to have Malware as the original code has been modified, resulting in a false positive. So if you get a positive it’s best to copy the name of the offending Malware and research it.

Thanks Miki. I did all that and also malwarebytes passed it as ok.

When i used it a couple of times, i never had any issues. But thanks for the reminder.

Here is a link that you might try. There are a number of versions here.

Under 2.6 versions therecis also the analytic one, which i believe might be better and no ads.

But it is trial and error. And i suggest you follow the good advice from Miki.

And i have not tried this link. So i cannot state whether they contain ads or not.

I have been looking for a newer version (virus free, ad free) Cinema HD Mod app for a long time. I found some, but all the newer versions were riddled with viruses when checked on VirusTotal.

The cinema hd v 2.6 that I loaded from APK time that is in the Troypoint video of how to load cinema, is the only version I have found that is very clean and doesn’t have a ridiculous amount of permissions.
