Ok, i know troypoint is not responsible for streaming problems, but what about the directions on his own page? And im pretty sure this isnt the correct place to ask this question, but i cant gind any other way to contact troypoint. I followed the instructions to install kodi on my daughters firestick. I have followed the instructions dozens of times on my own firestick without isdue. But this time, following troys instructions, i get “x app not indtalled” this has happened on several attempts. Does troy provide any tech support for his own procedure? Mark at

What instructions were you using? Are you using the latest Kodi? It’s 21.2 click the link listed above.
Hello, that error usually means that the app is already installed. That error happens and says it can’t install because it’s already installed. Go into Settings/Applications/Manage Applications and you will probably see Kodi already in there.

That is correct. The first time it failed I went to applications and found Kodi, even though it did not appear on the home screen. I deleted it. The install failed again. Realizing that the firestick is a secondary entity on my daughters TV, I deleted all the other apps that she already had on appleTV like peacock, disney, paramount, youtube, etc. There is now only a half dozen necessary and undeleteable apps on the firestick. To answer an earlier reply, I was following the instructions posted on the troypoint site about a week ago. June 2025 it stated. Next suggestions?
If you are 100% sure that the app is no longer on your device try rebooting device and then install again through the Toolbox.
