Ugh, so I got the premium and set it all up, the epg still didn’t update. So after playing around with my vpn and other methods I gave up and just cleared the data cache and just reset my playlist. After that the epg loaded and all seems good so far. We will see if I run into any more issues in the near future with the epg updating. For the record I am using a firestick 4k max with SS as my vpn.

Past days to keep EPG
1
Store program descriptions > Active
update options
Update interval, hours
4
Update on app start > Active
Update on playlists change > Active

Hey @BillyWilliam it’s what we’re here for my friend. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions if you can’t find the info you need. Tivimate has dozens of ways to configure it to your personal needs and sometimes it can be difficult to figure them out. BTW. love your avitar.

Are you looking for free playlists? They are getting fewer and farther between these days. Your best bet is to find a good IPTV provider.

i have that guide…still really vague on how to record on android 10 or above
system picker needs to be fixed for newer android os systems
sparkle player doesn’t have a record to external drive problem? works a treat

As of a couple of hours ago ALL my TiViMate app(s) are down.
I have tried every version I can get my hands on, they all go to a
blank(black) screen.
Any one else experiencing this???

Tivemate won’t let you add a new playlist since the update. You can’t login to Tivimate Companion. Have tried different IPTV services and different devices. Any solutions?

Try logging into the main TiviMate website instead. This fairly new site removes the need for the companion app.

It was down to enter additional playlists since around 5pm est. Try it now.

What is the consensus with the current 5.1.5 version of TM? Many posts seem hit and miss - indicating EPG issues with this version.

Is this a safe update over 5.1.0? This version was criticized for having buffering issues for some.

I’m still running 4.7.0.

I would hold off. As long as you don’t have any issues. I have been using the 5.1.5 and find it a tad glitchy. I have been testing various players to see if that is where and why I have been having a bit of an issue. The problem is it’s so intermittent and seems to only be on one sub. Still testing but the sub seems to be better once I switch to Netherlands on my VPN servers.
