Why are you on 19.4? That is most likely the Problem. 21.1 is the latest version that most Addons are optimized for. You can find it in Troy’s Toolbox

I am still having trouble with getting a stream with English. Is there something to look for in the stream description that says English?

BTW, I have English selected in the language section.

Me too for at least the one movie i wanted to see. I have English in the preferred language under Umbrella settings, but the 7 choices are all in French!

If you haven’t watched @Jayhawks659 Kodi tutorial, it will show you how to setup languages properly in Kodi settings, not in the addons.

I’ve been using Umbrella on Kodi for several weeks and it was working great. Now when I try to watch something it has no steams and says “account not premium”?? I have premiumize installed and it works on The Crew. Thanks for any insights.

Make sure you’re connected behind a VPN (assuming you use one) so to avoid ISP throttling and blocking.

This problem is widely common using hotel ISP connections. Many Kodi server IPs are blocked by the ISP - resulting in very limited sources and/or “no streams available” message.

As soon as you run behind a connected VPN, all sources are pulled and appear normally.

RD and PM work normally.

Thanks so. much for your reply. I do use SurfShark and have tried different connections, even other countries. But the strange thing is that when the links come up they show that they are Premiumized! I don’t get it since The Crew and all my other Kodi apps work with premiumize. It’s like Umbrella needs me to upgrade but I never had that problem before. Thanks again.

Have you tried unauthorizing PM under Umbrella, clear your Kodi cache, reboot Kodi, reauthorize PM in Umbrella and retesting?

Using a VPN has nothing to do with Umbrella working. I never use a VPN and Umbrella is working flawlessly for me and has been for months

Yes, as I mentioned in my reply, there is no difference whether or not, and changing locations had no effect on Umbrella. Do you have anything to add to address the problem? Thanks for your input.

Other than what was previously said about unauthorizing Premiumize then Reauthorizing I do not. When the whole Real Debrid fiasco happened I purchased Premiumize for 1 month and since the Umbrella dev has worked out a fix for Real Debrid I cancelled my Premiumize sub since my RD sub is good through 7/25. I’m getting lots of working RD Streams

If one is operating Kodi under an ISP that doesn’t actively blacklist Kodi IPs, then yes - using a VPN doesn’t matter either way.

However, my point was that there are scenarios where an ISP, particularly some used in hotel chains, that will block use of Kodi add-ons. I’ve experienced it, as mentioned. After using it behind a VPN, server sources came back with no blocking issues.

This may not be the root problem with @Tad331, but it was worth mentioning.

i did all the steps to make English my language on KODI and Umbrella…still only get french speaking in the movie I wanted. Had to move outside KODI to watch with english.

I’ve just installed Umbrella /Scrapers now RD working again. A tuorial on using RD instead of Premiumize with Umbrella would be useful

I’ve been trying to get Umbrella to work so I can continue to to use RD, as it seems to find more source options than Premiumize.
I am running 21.1 Kodi on a Shield Pro.
I also run Seren with Premiumize as a back up alternative. Seren generally works fine, but sometimes fails to find the content I’m looking for.
I have Umbrella set to Source Select, and I get the full list of sources from RD. Scraper timeout is set at 90 sec.
The problem is, that when I select a source, it does not remain on that source for more than 10 seconds, and automatically switches to the next source for 10 sec, then the next source for 10 sec, etc.
10 seconds is not long enough to complete the connection, so it runs through all the sources, 10 seconds at a time, and then says no available sources.
This was happening on both movies and shows and I had been unable to watch any movies or shows on Umbrella.
Under “Source Options” I turned on “Only Try One Source”. This has enabled me to watch most TV shows on Umbrella but did not make any difference to Movies.
Now in TV Shows, “Try one source” overrides Source Select, and does not provide me with a list of sources to choose from. Instead it appears to just take the first source and can take up to 2 minutes to get a connection. This works fine as long as the first source is in English. But if it’s in Russian or Italian, and I can’t change language in settings, I’m out of luck. I don’t get to choose another source.
And I’m still unable to watch any movies in Umbrella. It still lists all sources but skips every 10 sec.
Everything else is, I believe, at original settings. I’ve reinstalled Umbrella twice to no avail.
This seems to be a unique problem. Any advice would be most appreciated.

Been using KODI since 2017 and Umbrella for quite some time now. I have no idea what “Source Select” is. I rarely change any settings in an Addon. Umbrella is working great with RD. I suggest you change whatever settings you messed with. When I select a movie or TV show I get the full set of streams sorted by 4K (if available), 1080P, etc…I just play the stream at the very top and more than 9-10 it works fine

I think what you are referring to is what @donam1 means.

Source Select is the option to to choose the link from the RD or Premiumize sources. There is an Auto Play setting that I believe would just play the first available link. You dont get to choose.

@donam1 i am not sure why you are having this issue and if you already reinstalled Umbrella a few times maybe the issue is a setting in Kodi. Have you tried a fresh install of kodi yet? Like @MarkxG said you may have changed a setting there as well.

I almost thought it was your RD account but you said they eventually do play, right?

Also, make sure the Umbrella version you are using is 6.7.33. That is the latest. Maybe you got an older verion installed?

Thanks JPM --My umbrella version is .33. Perhaps there is a setting in Kodi that conflicts with Umbrella, although Seren still works perfectly well.
Really strange – I’m travelling the rest of the week, but will look into this further next week. I’ll first check both Kodi and Umbrella to make sure there isn’t an “auto play” setting lurking somewhere. Then reinstall Kodi.
