Nope, not fixed.

Hello, hoping for some help, my Umbrella add on was working great, suddenly since Monday I have not been able to download any streams on shows or movies. Using All Debrid, SurfShark US locations, on or off no change. Internet speed test ok, IPTV providers working ok.
Have deleted kodi and did a clean install, installed clean Umbrella, no luck,
Have learned a lot by reading these posts, hoping there is a solution to this really strange issue.

Thanks

Are you trying to download or stream? You can do both in KODI. Umbrella has had updates just about each day this week but has been working great. Did you also install the Coco Scrapers?

Just streaming, installed from kodi site, no mention of Coco scrapers, but did have them with prior install from Troy Point, will check this and install. Thanks for the tip, will advise

No problem you need the Coco Scrapers and will be good to go. Your clean install of KODI wiped them out

I just went into github to look at the issues tab and someone wrote the perfect post with my exact same issue. Very detailed post with all information one would need. I guess his Log didn’t stick when he posted so the owner responded “No log. Unable to duplicate. Closing”. I think the poster pissed him off because he titled the post “bug”.
I believe it is a bug as there 3 of us in this tread with the same problem since the update. I guess we will just have to wait for them to fix it…

Not sure what you are saying but the issue @BAW6 had was that he did a fresh install of KODI then when he reinstalled Umbrella he didn’t reinstall the Coco Scrapers which were wiped clean when he did the Fresh install of KODI. Thus all he needed to do was reinstall the Coco Scrapers.
There is no issue with Umbrella

Sorry. I was referring to the (Wardylfc20) post above. Those of us not using Trakt are not getting the watched check mark after finishing a show or movie.

I am using a Troypoint 21.1 fork. I just set up Umbrella on a new 21.2 fork and same issue.
I dont know for sure if this a bug or if after the latest update you now have to toggle a setting to get the watched check mark?
If anyone out there is Not using Trakt and knows how to make this happen I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Look for a setting in Umbrella called watched status provider or similar and make sure it’s set to Umbrella.
I don’t use Umbrella but on Fen light and POV I have my set to Trakt but if I wasn’t using Trakt I would set it to the addon name.

Why not just use Trakt? I’ve been using it for years. Not only do I watch all my shows/movies from there but that is also where I add them as well

On the issues tab on github the developer said no code was changed for Local tracking. Someone chimed in with a solution as they had the same issue.
Go into Umbrella settings General tab. Choose Indicators and click Local. Even though there is no option to change it you still must do this. Then click to the right and click OK to exit and save. Fixed. Now if you have Trakt you would choose Trakt over Local. I hope this helps those with the issue.

MarkxG - I dont know why I have fought myself on setting up and using Trakt. I am going to check it out on my previous fork. Its dumb that I waited this long to do it.

Thanks everyone!

Been using it for years. I use Collection only. The folks at Trakt tell me Collections is only for what I own and should be using Watchlist but screw them. I add shows to my collection in Trakt and then when all the seasons are done I remove them. during seasons all have a checkmark so I know where I am as I watch 4-5 different shows at a time. Not a binger like @Mslea

Yes indeed, I’m quite the binger

I use watchlist so when I start watching content removes it from watchlist and it appears in In Progress then when the content is finished it automatically removes it from In Progress and if a new season is released it reappears in In Progress
This how watchlist is designed to work.
I don’t use collection now because of the limitations that Trakt placed on lists recently.
I just used collection for reference but just use history for that now.

Yeah I was a Premium Trakt user for a Year and Justin at Trakt kept telling me to use Watchlist over collections but I see no benefit. Even what you just posted makes no sense as to why I would use Watchlists over Collections. I add a show/movie to my Collections then when I am done I simply remove it. Keeps all the watched history as well. Since I don’t use lists any limitations are not relevant to me

Because if you use watchlist you don’t need to remove anything from it because it’s done automatically and appears in In progress.
When a new season is released I know without looking because it automatically appears in In Progress.
With Collection you are manually having to remove content.
I don’t subscribe to Trakt so free account have limitation on lists including watchlist and collection.
Do you use in Progress?

Been on Trakt over 5 years never used Progress. I just go into whatever Show I want to watch and easily see the next episode that is unchecked.

MarkxG, I use Trakt exactly as you do for the same reasons. I like the control of deleting what I want, when I want.

Nearly ten for me.
In progress or like in Syncler you have continue watching.
It shows the next episode or plays the part watched episode.
It’s a great feature because it informs me straight away that a new episode or new season release is available to watch because it just appears In Progress.
That is how Trakt designed Progress and Watchlist to work in conjunction with each other.
I suppose it is what you get used to using.
