Seems that this is being released but isn’t anywhere near being finished. $15/yr and TiViMate is about $35 for lifetime. With their restrictions many playlists or the EPG won’t load.

Used undercover credentials to check this out and it is a joke comparing this to Tivimate. UI is horrendous. Once you sign up, there is no way to delete your account. :person_shrugging::-1::-1::-1::-1::-1: 5 thumbs down for this piece of work.

I will take a look at this, thank you for the feedback!

I’m sorry, but comparing this to TiviMate, which has been out much longer, at least with us, we allow free access before having to pay for premium if you wish.

We are always adding updates to make it better and love feedback.

No additional personal information beyond authentication data is collected or stored. All collected data is used exclusively to enhance your experience and facilitate licensing compliance. It is not shared with third parties.

There is free access to Tivimate to test it out. I wasn’t comparing it to TiViMate except for the difference in price with TiVimate having a lifetime sub. No sense in making comparison to a top line App like TiVimate, I’m not in to futility. My main point was that this seems more like a beta release with PROMISES for future improvement.

Which is correct: We have to spend time and money to get it approved by Google.

We are not like TiviMate; however, hopefully, we will be better with our support and feedback, as they only use Reddit (hopefully not a swear word here).

We have this application on the backend of the web player. As soon as we get more feedback and consumer usage, we will add more features.

As stated, more feedback on this topic will help us achieve our goals.

Perhaps make this free for X # of people to test it out and give you the feedback you need to reach your goals. Then start charging once it is at the level you want it to be.

Well there are other ways to contact the dev. But it’s a good thing in all the years I’ve had it I haven’t needed to contact him for any issues. Hopefully you’ll put out a manual like TiViMate has. I see there is a release already on Google so something got approved. What does it mean that it “contains Ads?”

In the meantime, we have Google ads running for the free version, until we consider adding a small watermark to the running streams.

So currently, when you watch a stream or VOD and back out, an ad will pop up.

We have done this elsewhere; some are beta testers.

Again, like many developers, we never expect people to pay. It is nice seeing people support us. The cost is as little as a coffee monthly, and it can be canceled anytime through the Google Play Store.

We have a roadmap of what we want to achieve, but a feature we like—which I’ve only seen in UHF applications on iOS—is cross-device syncing, and we have this on Android devices.

Stremio has cross device syncing. Info and config is kept in the cloud and applied to any device you install the app on and log into.

IndexedDB is used in our services for storing data locally on your device to enable certain features, and Google allows cross-device syncing.

How do I get rid of groups, foreign languages, certain sports? Can’t do that? Then GONE!

At the moment, we do not yet have this feature.

welcome

Darkstream --+ it looks like a very useful service to test for WEB PAGE use. Am at school or public library where I can use a webpage but I can not install apps. Very useful solution.

As far as being able to edit the playlist to remove items, well personally can do that with another service if you ALLOWED m3u playlists.

  1. please allow M3u playlists.
  2. please allow editing of playlist at the basic level to remove channels we do not need.

How do you add a m3u playlist?
