I’ve been using Luffy and Zorro from the Crew repository. Very fast add-ons. Shadow and Asgard from Narcacist repository are pretty good too.

I personally want to thank all of you regular insiders for such a great thread on Kodi. Excellent information, very helpful and a great discussion with everyone’s input. Nice to see all the positive contribution. Keep it up everyone AND.

Oh heck, don’t ever underestimate the old Miki. I use to be a Kodi addict just a few short years ago. I honestly got sick of linux for all the code entries, had 3 hand copied books of entries to add stuff for functions, and to me Kodi is much the same, way to much typing for me. But ya never know when I get bored and start driving @MarkxG and @Jayhawks659 crazy by addding Kodi to my Shield. The thought did cross my mind. What Little’s left of it. :face_with_spiral_eyes: :face_with_peeking_eye:

For any Umbrella experts out there, I’ve searched but I don’t see an “extra” function on the submenu like FEN had. I see the “information” option that shows the actors, trailer etc, but I was wondering if there is a feature like the FEN “extras” had that had reviews, trivia, etc. I thought that was such a good feature, but I can’t find it in any other plugins.

Umbrella by the way is fantastic. As fast if not a tad bit faster than FEN (which unfortunately is not being upgraded anymore) Umbrella is my new number 1

the beloved coalition and luffy are based on a POV version from a last year. zorro/chainsgenocide/zap/hawk are based on a Dradis version from last year as well. mostly what was done with that coal is the few dozen image files were replaced with copies of the same image file instead of updating the code to point to a single image file. so that coal is ~20mb of mostly the same image file. likely the same for zorr.

POV and Dradis have both been updated several times since and will continue to get most support.

When I click on your link to install umbrella and coco scraper, there are no directions for how to install on my fire stick. Could you please post instructions or direct to where the directions are?

I found a possible solution depending on your device/remote.

I just noticed on my Onn 4k pro remote, while in Kodi, the channel up and down work as a Page up/down command.

I tested in Umbrella and it does jump through the results as if it was a scroll bar. Every press up or down is a new page of 8 results.

Obviously it will depend on your device/remote. My Nvidia doesn’t have a channel up/down option.

But hopefully you have a remote that does this as well.

This might just be the workaround I need. I do have the Onn remote.

Next time I’m using umbrella I’ll test it out and see how it functions.

No problem. Tested on both the Onn 4k and Onn 4k Pro. Both remotes worked the same.

I have a question I watched the install video on umbrella . The question I have is I downloaded FEN lite and had to use coco scrapers for that can I use that download or do I have to download coco again ? ty

You probably just need to have each addon connected to Coco. Its already set up for me but i only have one Coco scrapper in the build under addons.

Take a look at the Coco settings area.

Best way to search for tv shows? Kicks me out to main screen w voice command. Trying to find weekly tv series. I can manually search and I can find. Any way to use voice command search? Just downloaded, umbrella, been a while using Kodi. Also is there a recommended interface, that’s more user friendly. I was used to confluence? Sorry a lot of questions, senior moments for this senior citizen!:flushed::joy:

I am not aware of kodi having voice search option. When you are doing that with your remote you are signaling your device to change away from kodi to use the voice search option.

Does that make sense?

There are a lot builds on kodi that use different skins (interface). Search TP and see which one you might like. Diggz builds use their own version of Confluence. There may be others similar as well.

Thanks. Yes That makes sense. I know enough just be dangerous! And Miki has helped me a lot. The interfaces I’ve tried I’ve had trouble circumventing the movies, tv shows etc.

What is your kodi knowledge? Are you new? Have you used builds and/or a Debrid service before?

If you want some help trying a few builds i can try to help. I use only one but download others to help people with problems/questions. Others here as well will do the same.

We all have differnt preferences of what is good or bad in a build. If you feel up to it search TP for some build suggestions.

We will be here to help.

Used Kodi when I bought first firestick 10-12 yrs ago. As time went on discovered other apks like cinema etc. Have Real Debrid, vpn. It’s just I haven’t used Kodi for several years. Got it up and running, all good there. Just need to play with a bit. And reacquaint myself w Kodi.
