LOL it always happens. Everyone thinks their setup is the Best! And you know what, if it works for you then it is!

Alright, I guess I need to get around to version 2.0 of the skeleton build for Kodi. The current version is not slow, always finds links, and isn’t cluttered. As long as the crew still works, this will work. People want free sports and TV added though. Anything free comes with drawbacks.

Yea everyone wants sports, guess new movies are overrated :joy:

Stremio all the way. In my opinion, whenever I (me personally) use KODI, it’s just a constant let down and time consuming.

Glad we all have options to use what we like. Both Kodi and Stremio provide a different experience but both are top knotch apps. Doesn’t matter what we each use, as long as it gets us what we want. You like Chevy I like Ford. Both get the job done, and will get you where you want to go.
Have fun and STREAM ON!!

Isn’t it wonderful that we can all share our opinions? For example, you like KODI, Ford’s or Chevy s, I prefer Stremio and Mercedes and Audi. But, that’s just our opinions. Anyway, I’m so excited to see who else chimes in to share there opinions. Have a wonderful and blessed day, no matter where you are, what you prefer, what you drive, or what MLB team you like. Stream on beautiful peeps!:+1::beer:

I use stremio and syncler on a regular basis every day paired with Rd and free version of Orion and works flawless mostly. Just my opinion :v::sunglasses:

I just downloaded Stremio on to my Firestick and all the TV programs I added to it are You Tube trailers. How that happened I don’t know. Have I missed something in the install process?

Is there a user guide for installing Stremio and how to add on tv and movies?

I uninstalled Kodi after discovering Stremio (with RD via Torrentio).

  1. Torrentio Config option allow u to filter out CAM’s and to set minimum resolution.
  2. I’m convinced that RD inherently provides a VPN. This allowed me to turn off my ExpressVPN app on FS as it greatly reduced my D/L speed impacting smooth viewing and 4K movies. All ok w/o ExpressVPN that has no such impact on my Windows PC.
  3. I thoroughly enjoyed configuring Kodi and trying best of Add ons … when it was on my FS. I have a keyboard and mouse and additional flash drive storage.

Loved messing around with Kodi and FS as a hobby only but realized rock solid Stremio as mentioned gives me everything.

The only improvement to Stremio on my wishlist is improve the GUI to see where you are on screen. Always hoping for this with each Stremio update.

I have been using RD for 9 years and never used a VPN.
The data is encrypted and your ISP can only see you connecting to a server and not what you’re actually accessing.
I have been using iptv longer and would only use a vpn when my isp blocks access to it. My new isp doesn’t block so I don’t use one.

You and I are a minority when it comes to NOT using a VPN. Been streaming on KODI since 2016 and more recently IPTV since 2022 and never have used a VPN. This forum can and will convince people that they have to use a VPN when in reality IMO it’s not needed. Glad to see others see the way.

As you well know I fall on the opposite side of the fence and won’t ever connect to the net without a VPN. I respect you and your opinion and I’m glad we can all do this respectfully. This is strictly one of those “do what YOU want” moments. Lots of arguements for both sides. I guess to me it doesn’t matter what others believe or do, I do the same as you, what I want. Just have fun and stream on, however you do it.
