Looking for new streaming box

Granted some of those devices are smart plugs, a smart deadbolt on our main door, etc etc, but a lot are streaming devices, tvs, my son’s tablets, cell phones…yea it adds up real quick haha.

We have the same. 5 TV’s can be streaming, Xbox going, tablets and phones going at various times and we never have an issue. Main Spectrum router and an Orbi mesh system running off of it and our whole house including back by the pool and into the whole yard is covered. Really happy with it

I have gig service and have 25-30 connected things all the time. 4 security cameras, at least 4 smart speakers, multiple tv’s and an average of 4-7 android boxes, weather radar 24-7, police scanner, crypto miner aka crypto slot machine …and im sure if I look around there more

I dont know why I bother with the electrical tape since my wife loves her Echo Shows. I also present her with easy-to-use TiviMate and every channel she could ever dream of…on a golden platter. But then she ends up watching 95% of her content with OTA antenna. What do ya do?

You had me at “back by the pool”. Minnesota winters get old. But I bet if most of us think about and tally every contraption on wifi it’s probably in double digits during the day.

It’s just a different way of checking the status of your connection…if you read About, Causes & Fixing…the guy that came up with this particular packet loss test explains some more stuff. Yeah…I’m a nerd

@Powerfader I’ve also been getting a perfect packet score…then again I don’t run a lot of devices…got a 426 Hemi & drive the speed limit

Got rid of my speed toys. First to go was my Sports car. Then went the boat. Finally, the bike went, too.

I miss my toys and should have NEVER sold the bike!

Now, I drive a soccer mom car and pick up little old ladies using walkers!

Agree with your sentiment. Also, people need to pay attention to their upload, as well as download speeds. Anything under 10 mbs on the upload will increase the chance of buffering. I have 300/30 download/upload service with LAN connections and have not had any buffering on my iptv services.
