Just add both to my watch list.

Thanks for sharing

One out of two is great. Tx for the suggestions.

Landman is also very good. Taylor Sheridan is a gifted writer.

Add Tehran to your list, one of the best shows according to me.

Has anyone seen season two of Squid games

Watching it…It sort of sucks and I loved the first season. The 1st 2 episodes IMO are unwatchable…I don’t want to spoil it but if you get beyond episode 2 then it becomes more like the first season. But there is some serious BS before that

I agree …first two episodes tries to set up the rest, but it seems they could have done without it. I’m disappointed in season 2, thought it would be much better. I’m assuming there’s a part two to this? It really didn’t end.

Fans of High Potential. HIP - High Intellect Potential is the original French series and has 4 seasons on Hulu dubbed in English. So far the American version closely follows the original and it’s also a good watch

LANDMAN kicks butt. Funny, exciting and a bit criminal.

think the new series of reacher starts tomorrow

I feel differently about Season 2 and thought it was really good but maybe my expectations were more balanced. Season one was better, of course, but isn’t that usually the case? Season two did end abruptly but they plan to resume Season 3 sometime this year so we won’t have to wait as long this time.

Waiting has become part of the norm for series. Watch 10 episodes, take a chistmas break, watch six more take an easter break, 4 more take a spring break, you get the idea, then wait until next year for the next season. Gone are the days of weekly episodes being released for our favourite shows. Movies are even worse with a year or two between releases and further development of the story.

That’s why I’m starting to watch a series or a new season when it’s completed. I’m too old to remember names of people from last weeks show. I’ll wait till Reacher is finished with season three before I start it.

I’ve been waiting for the final of Outlander forever … it takes me forever to catch up with the names and situations for the last season…

Agree. Look back to the old 4x3 days and series ran for 26-32 episodes a year. Today it’s 6-10. I think the networks and studios are just plain greedy and lazy but as long as we keep watching, they’ll keep shrinkflating their product!

The worst example is a movie called ā€œBuried in Barstowā€. When the movie starts, the title becomes ā€œBuried in Barstow: Part 1ā€, the assumption being that you can pull up ā€œBuried in Barstow: Part 2ā€ later. Not a chance - the movie just stops half way through and guess what… Part 2 was never made! What a waste of 90 min!

Yeah, I watched that and was looking forward to part 2 … I forgot all about it.

As far as watching TV series’s, I’m focusing on a series that had their run and are over with, (although I did watch Patience). Stuff like Lie To Me, Sherlock, Elementary, Person of Interest, Shetland, Rome, Spartacus. And now it’s Legion (what a whacked out TV series!) These are canceled or just finished. This way it gets resolved and I can move on.
