KODI works great as long as you have a Debrid device which costs Pennie’s per day. Tried Stremio years ago but never liked the clunky interface

I’m sure it does but no need to play for those services. You should check stremio today, it’s very different from years ago and works great without any paid services in all resolutions.

The interface has evolved. Years ago it was ok, now I find it much more aesthetically pleasing and it sure is simple to use and set up. Way easier than any Kodi you’ll ever use IMHO. But this is about the Onn, not Stremio or Kodi.

Looks like they took the page on the Walmart site down. Guess they weren’t ready for all of the attention. Their launch strategy is always a little different.

The link that TCRon posted is not dead.

No, it isn’t. We were referring to the product page on Walmart’s site where you could check local store stock. Walmart took that one down.

It’s possible I didn’t see that then. I was only saying the link isn’t dead but clearly going somewhere else now then. Very strange.

All I get is a message that says We Couldn’t find that page.

Been running the old onn from the beginning without many problems.

Yeah, I kind of realized that I’ve replaced all my MeCools and FS Cubes with Onn 4Ks and Pros. They just work despite the fact they are 1/3 the cost.

Ditto. I LOOOVE mine. So happy When they came out. I was ready to 86 by Amazon fire sticks. Not to say that the fire sticks weren’t useful and beneficial based on what was available. I don’t think I’ll ever look back on a need for anything else besides what I have.

I tried the link, got broken link message

Yes. If you look above, you’ll see they took the page down a few days ago. I guess they weren’t ready yet. The link contains the UPC number that should work with Walmart’s site and others like Brickseek when they do launch.

So what is the difference between the 4k Plus and the basic Onn? And is performance the same as the 4k Pro vs 4k Plus. Kind of agree with “Wizzard” the primary objective is reliable streaming. I have one of those I haven’t set up yet (got to many firesticks that won’t boot! ugh!). While 16Gb is adequate for apps, I want storage for downloads, to watch later. Why I got the 2nd gen “box” with SD card slot and usb port. I don’t understand why developer don’t add auxillary storage to these devices in the form of cheap SD slots. So simple and beneficial?

Does anyone know if we can order these for UK? Thanks in advance :+1:

Thomson may release the plus version like they have with the other Onn devices but you will pay way more for them in Europe than if you manage to source one from the US.
