I just got my Plus box this morning. Overall, it seems pretty good. Like Troy and others have pointed out, ProjectIvy wonāt autoload without installing Launcher Manager. Unfortunately, Iāve noticed an undesirable effect of installing Launcher Manager. With it installed, it disables the * (Settings) key. The key even stays disabled even after uninstalling Launcher Manager.
One tip I can pass along. If you ābrickā the device (donāt ask how I know), you can reset the device to Factory Defaults by holding the button on the back of the device while powering up the device. A menu will appear on your screen. You cycle through the menu by pressing the button. A long press of the button selects the item.

I bought 1 about 2 weeks ago. And iām super happy with this device, very impressed. I watched tp vid the latest one, and I donāt know. He said that as of now, adding storage, doesnāt work? But I did manage to add the scan disk a 128 gig as external storage. Only not formatted as internal, because it would not see it. Iāve downloaded a bunch of movies to it and works brilliantly. Xplore mgr. handles it. But havenāt tried Live TV yet on TV.
Mate. I did notice that when I start the device every so often. I have to restart it and then it picks up the flash drive .I kept odb debug off. Will update post if iām successful in recording.Live tv also.

Iām now in love w/ kodi after watchin @Jayhawks659 full a-z kodi set up. Got it set up w/ rd n umbrella. FLAWLESS !!! IF YA DIDNāT SEE IT, check it out.

Good notes @BobC ! Yeah, the guide button doesnāt work either but keep in mind with tvQuickActions Pro you can map all of those buttons exactly like I show in the video.

Understood. But I did get to add the 128G flash leaving it as a seperate external drive n not migrating to internal w/out use of remote adb cuz i couldnāt scroll to add local host. Hovever, Now that i watched ur entire vid on superchg. Onn +, noticed ur instructions on mouse toggle. Going to redo or maybe not. They say if it aināt broke donāt fix. Think Ill buy another onn + n set it up ur way. Always enjoy tinkering to learn more. But must say: this onn+ box is the bomb !!! Thanx

Since I usually turn on my TV/ONN box by pressing the Home button on the ONN remote, I took a different approach to making ProjectIvy my default launcher. Instead of installing Launcher Manager, I installed tvQuickActions Pro and assigned ProjectIvy to the Home button. Works great. I press the Home button and that turns on the TV, the ONN box, and launches ProjectIvy.

.I have Projectivy as the launcher (general under Projectivy settings) not using any other launcher.
I use Button Mapper not QuickActions, I use ATVTools for a mouse from my phone, works great.
No problem with home button or Free TV button and no problem with accessibility option. Set it up Wednesday night, accessibility is still set tonight for both Projectivy and Button Mapper.
Oh, in a previous message I whined about āSend Files to TVā not working, I reinstalled and that fixes that.
I havenāt had time to look at storage but I did remove user 10 and my Onn 4K with Google TV then saw the drive again but prompted me to format so I am not sure if the apps are still viable or if it will need formatted, had to do tech support for a friendā¦ You know how it goes.

I currently use Tivo 4kās and all apps work fine. Does anyone know if Films Plus F+, Cinema, Surf Shark, Prime work with ONN 4k

Are the accessibility problems due to an Android 14 compatibility issue?
Also, fyi for everyone wanting to install ATV Pro (or Wolf Launcher) instead of ProjectIvy, those seem to work great in combo with LM on this Plus box.

I donāt think so as I can toggle that button on the Onn 4K Streamer just fine.

Iāve noticed what appears to be a deviation in operation between the Plus and previous ONN boxes. I have my new Pro box installed on a 32" older Vizio TV Hereās what Iāve noticed.
With my previous, first generation ONN box, pressing the Home button turns the both the TV and ONN box on and the TV immediately changes input to the HDMI port that the ONN box is connected to.
With the new Pro box, pressing the Home button turns both the TV and ONN box on, however when the TV comes on, itās in TV mode (mode it was in previously). If I press the Home button again after the TV comes on, then it switches input to the HDMI port that the ONN box is connected to.
I have every generation of ONN boxes made, including the Pro version. All boxes, with the exception of the Plus, work the same when pressing the Home button. If the TV was in TV (antenna) mode when turned off, pressing the Home button turns the TV on and immediately switches the input to the HDMI port that the ONN box is connected to.
Have others noticed this difference?

Get a kick out of these people who screw with this usb-c stuff when they can buy an Onn pro for 20 bucks more. 16 gigs more of storage and comes with ethernet and usb port. What am I missing here?

I have only one down side to the plus with the 14 software.. I canāt use my 1Pix media the wuffy player wonāt work with 14 .. anyone have any ideas ? Other than that itās been great .

Recently purchased ONN 4k Tv box from Amazon Canada. I live in BC. During setup I receive a warning that my region is not recognized and that only the USA and Puerto Rico are valid. I have tried manual and Google Home setup .. same result.
