Yup, it all has to do with how the streams are accessed. Do you understand how regular torrents work? The file is downloaded in multiple pieces simultaneously from multiple sources. This is why I recommended using a Kodi addon that is configured to only stream cached torrents. That means Real Debrid already downloaded the file on their servers and you are streaming it directly from them in one place. FEN and Seren are set up to do this by default.
You should be able to find good 1080p links that are 2gb or less on average. But at 2gb each and 2 movies per day… That does come out to 120gb per month.
And yes, when you stream a file it will download a certain amount in advance. That is what buffering is. It all depends on your settings how much is downloaded and temporarily stored on your device before it’s actually played on the screen.
