Under pressure from major film and TV industry groups, Real-Debrid implemented anti-piracy measures in November 2024 that many feared would bring an end to its usefulness. Now three months later, the results are clear: a noticeable decline in traffic, but the platform remains up and running. And regardless of the traffic declines, the real question…

As I mentioned before I never lost rd streams and now they are better than ever(maybe due to less traffic). I renewed yesterday using my points and no cost.

Really a good read. I would encourage anyone who may be interested in a good primer on RD’s recent “scrape with demise” to scope this article out and digest what is going on. This is especially true for those early into the IPTV scene and may be wondering which Debrid service they should go with. As for me, I am so glad that early on I decided on Premiumize, and have not looked back since. Im so thankful it just works everytime without a hitch, and is easy to pay for, implement, and update. During the previous RD debacle, I just laid back and streamed to my hearts content… (which isnt much as i’m usually way too busy to even watch much lately!) To each their own still rings true. Many will hang on to RD even while they seemingly crumble into tech oblivion.

Hey Reece I don’t think any of the Debrid services work/help with IPTV although I could be wrong. More so for KODI/Stremio and Apps where you are watching VOD. With KODI RD was down for like 3 days only and then most of the good Dev’s came up with a workaround. I bought a 1 month sub of Premiumize and cancelled once RD started working again after a few days. It’s good to know IF RD were to go away I can immediately sub to Premiumize, All Debrid, etc…BUT there is no reason for me to have 2 Debrid services

Just renewed realdebrid for 3 more months. Thing is I never had any issues when so many others did. So I’ll roll with it till the wheels won’t roll no more. Plus it’s cheaper than premiumize.

I have two debrid services just in case there is a hiccup in one, I can go use the other. If one were to go away I have a fallback. Its good to know RD is still viable.

I also never suffered an outage from RD, works great :+1:

My RD expired yesterday but haven’t used it in over a month, they lost me when they started threatening to release people’s data to authorities. Because I’m slightly crazy I now have Premiumize, Easy Debrid and TorBox. R.I.P RD for me!

Edit: If omission is indeed lying  than I better add Orion to my list.

Been with RD for yars and even with the problems they had I saw no difference in my use. I guess mainly is I don’t download anything to save. No reason. The feeds I get are very good and I get items in DV and HDR10+ that are very nice. Like one said, I’ll stick with RD til the wheels fall off

FYI, my RD links in CinemaHD app will not function while non RD links work OK.

I think it was much ado about nothin. I kept my subscription and while a few feeds were blocked out I could still watch what I wanted. I added umbrella and used RD and it worked just fine. All is good.

Myself and several others that i know have RD and it has works perfect on the Xenon Build. Have not had any issues whatsoever. Just renewed mine 2 weeks ago.

Well, actually, it’s not. RD links are far fewer than they were before the chaos. Especially with some apps (Cinema, BeeTV, FilmPlus, etc). For some reason, Stremio seems to fare better but still not as good as it used to be.

There was a report that went out stating that about 15 source suppliers closed up shop. This was shortly after the RD reaction to the notices they received. So you’re absolutely right, there are a few less scrape results than there use to be.

Seems like the KODI and Stremio Dev’s were able to find a much faster and better solution than the standalone Apps/APK’s when the $hit hit the fan with RD. KODI was fixed in a bout 3 days - some never had an issue at all. I’m still seeing posts that RD is not working on Cinema, FilmPlus etc.

I use PM so I wouldnt know…but all is good as far as I’m concerned!
Been thinking about checking out “All-Debrid”. I have to read up on it some more first, and then run a trial on one of my old cubes and see how it goes.

Pm has steadily improved since the big RD migration a few months ago.

However, I still observed that RD is still pulling more sources (from what I watch) than PM.
