I do not dā€™load or try to sell anything. Got the warning letter twice in the last 10 years. Just watch for my own entertainment. You just do not know when the fat cats are going to come after you, get a paid VPN. Surfshark is great. If you do a lot of research here and other places, you can have everything with no buffering, cost, or jerky images.

here are some i found to b very reliable: lemmo, kemosat, thunder,epic,4klive,digital lizard

Amen Brother!
Troy,you are BEST!!

First off Iā€™d never make excuses for my no knowing what I was doing and blame Troypoint so thatā€™s out. Secondly, Iā€™ve been on FS, Kodi, broken, unbroken, free and paid iptv, since 2016 so I speak with some experience. They all donā€™t have good programming recording even when they do and their knowledge base isnā€™t always what itā€™s cracked up to be. Suggest to always use IPTV providers that have been around for a long while, although that doesnā€™t always work. I was with Typhoon for nearly 2 years, got brave to sign for 6 months against what Troypoint advises and they went blank two weeks into my 2nd year. I did get my money back through my credit card without any problems from Typhoon and have been with XtreemIPTV for nearly 2 years. They have had some problems when they tried something new, complaining worked after about the 5th or 6th complaint and they had me to reinstall with a completely new username and password, basically a new system about 5 months ago. Their problems nearly vanished but occasionally there is a problem but there are so many backup channels, Guides that work do good if they work to begin with. I always find a workaround without having to complain. Occasionally I have to use my VPN when something isnā€™t smooth as silk and for some reason, the VPN straightens it out using the VPN streaming apps and not the cityā€™s location apps. If you experience problems, I find I can fix approx 95% of the problems even when my wife is watching on the back TV. Right now, my pet peeve is paying for the IPTV service. When they say theyā€™ll take CC and do for over a year and then something happens that they only take bitcoin and I know nothing about bitcoin. They gave me a major discount to pay that way cause I told them Iā€™m not using it. Hopefully theyā€™ll get the CC service fixed and I might try 6 month. Yes, I know itā€™s advised against but considering the success Iā€™ve had, thatā€™s my next thing instead of 3 months! There ya go, thatā€™s my story and Iā€™m sticking to it!!!

It is impossible to please everyone, every time. Those who want to learn will do their due diligence and embrace the teachings as well as the different opinions. Those who like the flight by night modality will complain because they think is easy and donā€™t put the work in. Pretty simple, please donā€™t get involved in this or any other group, stay home sitting in your couch watching mainstream TV.

I have over a thousand live channels. And can watch any sporting event live. For free! I donā€™t get buffering either. You just have to look.Buy a firestick or google ONN.There are lots free apps. With great content.

You said it. Great advice

Agree! The problem with so-called wanna be ā€œcord cuttersā€ is they are expecting plug ā€˜n play service. Uh ha, that ainā€™t about to happen. Iā€™ve been around the block a few times and learned that from my experience with FTA and pirate satellite. So many people thought if they bought a receiver then all their channels would magically come in. Boy, were they ever wrong. Same applies to when I first dove into IPTV. Everything comes with a learning curve and if youā€™re not willing to put in the time learning about how it works, then stay with your costly monthly cable bill. But if you really give it a shot, then you stand to save big time money. I got into IPTV almost 4 years ago and learned something new everyday at the start. I do know that i save in excess of $1,000 a year over cable bills. Is IPTV worth it? You bet your boots it is!

Youā€™re preaching to the choir. Have a look at the 10 pages of F.A.S.T links I posted about 2 years ago. I use TiVimate, a single fully configurable app that gives me everything I want reliably. Been through the free route and back out the otherside. Enjoy the multitude of apps you need to get the odd good channel. Iā€™m good tx. We all do things our own way, and I am very content. Thankyou.

Anyway you cut it most of us here are testors. Testing costs money. Itā€™s not perfect by any means. I remember the Hu card days and FTA days. I spent more on that stuff than a script would cost. But I enjoyed it. Itā€™s a hobby and it wasnā€™t without some risk. Thankfully I never got a ā€œLetterā€ from DTV or Dish. Technology is different now, but were still testing and evading, lol.

Donā€™t forget the H card and the atmega and emulator. Yes testing. I never got a letter from Dish or Direct Tv either, why? Well, they donā€™t provide their services or sell them in Canada so nobody can really steal them right? Not my fault they insisted on passing their signal through my personal space ā€¦ now my dual LNB Sat with both Dish and Bell ā€¦ WELL Bell was different here and you didnā€™t want to get caught running those.

Some time ago I had Lemo & Kemosat both at the same time. What I found they offered mostly the same channels but not exact. Despite carrying out my daily maintenance sometimes a channel would buffer so I would swap to the other provider to discover the same issue. I did notice that both providers were using the same URL which I thought was strange. Once they expired I didnā€™t renew.

Excellent post!! First time poster/reply-er, user of your VPN ā€¦
And I have to say thank you for your tips and support.
Iā€™m by no means a ā€œtechieā€ or expert, just someone that can learn enough to get myself in trouble =b and very much appreciate the insight you and the community offer.

My thoughts/observations are, stick with a provider that will filter the crap, the unwanted channels languages. If the provider is unwilling then move on. The better providers are not the ones with ā€œthe mostā€ channels, hell a few hundred are more than enough unless you are multilingual.
The same with movies, Iā€™m not into reading subtitles, Iā€™ll pick up a book!!
And for series, sure itā€™s nice to re-watch every episode of The Simpsons, my goal when Iā€™m finally in a nursing home, but until then the provider that offers current running popular series, updated regularly have my vote!
Sure we ALL got tired of feeding big corp huge amounts of money for already subsidized commercial viewing, so itā€™s not the cheapest provider that will receive my hard earn money, the less convoluted smooth running reliable feed will earn that spot! As mentioned, I too will have as many as three or four on the go and the the better ones will get the longer renewed subscriptions.

Cheers and all the best for the new year!

welcome

I have been using IPTV services exclusively for more than five years now. Itā€™s been a long, self-learning process, but I have arrived at a place where I can watch anything I want with minimal disruptions. I also use more than one service (3 or more if Iā€™m testing a new one). Iā€™ve never contacted, or attempted to contact, any IPTV service for technical assistance.

Initial subscriptions are usually for 6 months in case the service goes under. I have one service that has been very dependable that I have been using for more than 5 years. I pay annually for that one, the best rate they offer.

When an IPTV service seems to be buffering more than usual on all channels, it is worth a try switching the host city on my VPN.

It is often quickest to find any live sports event by doing a search for the hostā€™s (or opponentā€™s) city name and looking for the event under the channels listed.

When watching a sporting event (or any live show) on a national network channel, it is a good idea to access that channel from a list of all of the networkā€™s channels (rather than from a favorite list). That way, if the channel freezes I can quickly press the back button and choose another channel.

Some IPTV services offer 24/7 programming. I filled my favorites with 24/7 TV series, movie series, and actors that I like. I have about 60 favorite channels, I can always find something I like to watch or to have on in the background when doing something else.

IPTV isnā€™t perfect. I kept my cable TV service for about a year before I was comfortable enough with IPTV to cut the cord. Glad I did.

Samsung TV is a great choice. Itā€™s free and has some excellent entertainment. There are other free ones also of course. The point here is there is plenty of free, legal ā€œTVā€ sources out there so there is no need or excuse to blame anyone if you have issues with IPTV providers.

Many of the free Playlists were shut down or modified so they wouldnā€™t work on an IPTV player. Samsung, for example, modified their code so that their playlist would only work via their app and only on Samsung devices. Since then there have been some new ones released but like the original, who knows how long they will last. Most being unreliable, and often SD only, I gave up on them, and donā€™t want multiple apps for ā€œfreeā€ TV.

If it works for you then that is all that matters but Samsung TV is crap IMO as are all the free tv apps, playlists, etcā€¦The only live TV I watch are Live Sports, Sports content/documentaries, and Live News. Iā€™m not going to get that content that works consistently and buffer free on any free apps

I have been using iptv for about a year with 2 providers both are good, they appear to be the same. I switched to the cheaper service, and I didnā€™t have to use bitcoin. Now the newer service is asking for bitcoin. I agree with you I like the CC better. BC have too many fees
